I know. And we wouldn't get one. That only seems to work for sides who turn up at the Macron having not won in a thousand games....thebish wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:I wouldn't really mind if we lost every game from now till the end of the season.
Start afresh. And statistically we'd be due a win start of next season.
no we wouldn't!

I think it's certainly better to experiment with next season in mind than to desperately scramble for pointless points.BWFC_Insane wrote:I wouldn't really mind if we lost every game from now till the end of the season.
I'd rather lose 2-0 (or 4-0) with players we'll use next season than 1-0 with an experienced lineup who'll mainly be gone within five weeks.

Spot on Mr DSB, next term is all that matters now this season is a write off.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:I think it's certainly better to experiment with next season in mind than to desperately scramble for pointless points.BWFC_Insane wrote:I wouldn't really mind if we lost every game from now till the end of the season.

"C'mon. We can still do this !!"
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Burlimey!
Amos, Maher, Derik, Finney, Moxey, Vela, Trotter, Pratley, Walker, Clough, Woolery.
Rachubka, Danns, Heskey, Wilson, Twardzik, Wheater, Samizadeh.
What's the average age of that starting XI?

By my reckoning, the average age of that starting line-up is twenty-three.Little Green Man wrote:Burlimey!

That will be no goals to us and lots to Brentford then.
Still worth finding out about these lads, but I'm bloody glad I'm not doing so first hand. Massacre.

Nice to see finney getting a go ahead of Wheater. not that he's better mind. it's more an approach of looking towards the future.
seasons ended already. might as well consider this prep for next season.

A massacre is my worry too. I'm all for blooding the youngsters but so many at once could be detrimental to their development no?LeverEnd wrote:That will be no goals to us and lots to Brentford then.

I like to think of it as the youngsters will be excited an raring to go. might as well give the young guns a go to see if any can make it.

Don't like being pessimistic but I just don't rate most of our young players. We will need a genius manager and some clever free transfers to get anything out of next season.
