After being dragged away from the imagination using radio stuff to watch the game on my neighbours larger than life tele, I think I prefer to listen to the babblings of the Tower Radio micman and have a laugh. It's less painful. I'll be back Tuesday.

I wouldn't be unhappy with Holloway as an appointment. He might be as mad as a box of frogs, but perhaps that is a prerequisite for taking the job. Seems a decent fit.

Truth be told, I suspect whoever we appoint can only be a success or failure once the financial mess of the club is sorted. If we have to go into next season with the players we have and very few signings, anyone is going to struggle.

As I say, priority for next season is stop the rot. Anything else is gravy.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

You were missed yesterday fella. I was in the Lakes with only a sporadic signal. Thanks to you I knew it was 0-0 at half time. After that it was anyone's guess what was going on. Very frustrating! :)

Holloway, I'd prefer we went with his close cousin, bobo.

As a slight aside, and I don't know how many others saw this, but there was a situation in the second half that lasted for quite some time in the gap between the West and East stands. Someone was lying on the floor seemingly trying to get up but was being held back down by a bald-headed bloke in a blue jacket and a woman dressed in black. The were surrounded by paramedics and stewards who stood by appearing to do nowt. I've absolutely no idea what was going on but hope everyone was ok.

I thought it was what other teams generally call the defence?

Disabled man had a fit. The bloke in blue and woman in black you mention are his carers. He had another one post match in the disabled exit, and the same person had one at the previous match...
