Got caught out by the early kick off for the last tango in Fulham. Not missed much it seems after 39 mins. I'll just stick in anything of note today..oh....we had a bit of a move going and then Pratley tried to bring down a low flying helicopter....

" A lovely vintage stadium" our mic man tells us. And now a bit of a chat and .....a bit more chat, and specualtion as to why Holding misses out today. Clough did a bit of a mazer but Heskey didn't have his sprinting clogs on. Mark Davies evades a card for a dive and.....Danns emulates (did you like that) Pratley's helicopter missile. Hey up, here we go and....lose it and...win it and lose it again. A whanger from them gets deflected for another corner. And....and..Wheater nods it out for.....another corner. And again.....some pressure before MaCormack fires one wide.

Are we having fun yet mother? Well, we ain't losing so....must be. Are we ending this disastrous season on a high? The homers sally forth again and ...oooohhhhh a crashing shot hits the post and the rebound goes over. Bit lucky there. We don't really sound to be in charge of much right now as oranges and lemons time approaches. They try again and.....we'll get a kick in a minute, I know.. There you go, we get an offside and a chance for a wallop. Timothy gives us a throw. No Whites venturing forth it seems. Think I'll throw in a COME ON YOU WHITES
as part one ends goalless. 0-0, yes, that's 0-0......

Outplayed. Only Fulham's poor finishing is keeping us in this. Doesn't look like a team aiming to end the season on a winning high.

Usual 4-1-4-1. Started with Derik at the back and Oscar in defensive midfield; they've since switched. Last ten minutes, Danns has switched wideish right with Davies more central. Sparky has been at the hub of what passes for our possession, but we have no penetration. Fulham poor, even if it was weird to watch Dan Burn amble 40 yards through our defence. Fans in good voice, stewards confer aging inflatables. #fun

Pretty much expected from a team going through the trap door. Lot of work to do before next season.

"Once more unto the breach"...etc...as we get ready to put cunning plan Axfordstimbermerchantsgoodforwood...into action. Bit of chat from micman then.....( 17,200 in the ground he says) ....our black-clad heroes commence the battle. We win a throw.....Pratley gives a way a free kick....and some results before.....they sally forth, we clear....and they have it back. Ream visits before we set off and give a way a throw. Hmm. Fans not rushing back from pies and pints yet. Clough wins a free kick and.....some more results....and...takes it again as the ref doesn't like it. Cleared but we still have it. Danns, Wilson and....they have, we have...Clough again and....Threlkeld clears but back they come. Ream crosses and....they win a corner. 47th corner for them and.....eventually Davies wins us a throw. Gee.....the excitement.

Bit of excitement there though as Heskey nods a Wilson cross over. Eventually.......Amos has a goal kick. Wilson gives away a free kick that micman doesn't understand what for? Sub for the homers, Hindeman? for..Christiansen.

And...... a good break and cross gets put over by the homers. Mic man dares to suggest Fulham are the better side.. Anyway, bad language aside, we get a free kick but they have it back. Davies and Pratley sally but we only get a throw. Now they force Deryk into making a sliding challenge and Davies gets away with a caution. Heskey gets some joint applause as he leaves the greensward for...Woolery??
They attack and....Smith misses a chance...

Meanwhile, back on the pitch.....some to and fro before McCormack goes offside. Woolery gets a first mention with 25 left.
Mic man's voice is on low level as we manage to get three passes before losing it. Sounds like all them, but McCormack sends one wide after some "wonderful build-up" McCormack again....having far too much mention...and they get another corner. Is that a record? To and fro and all Fulham names, before Amos makes a save.

Come on lads, caution to the winds and let's have some magic. It's all them before Wheater does well. Wheater blocks a Hindeman effort. Davis goes, Danns, Garret..phone goes as wife rings from Asda....before....some Brentford chat and...a throw via Ream and....Clough sets off.....but it all ends back with them.

Outshot 21-4 (none of ours on target), outcornered 12-1 and 70% possession for them. Sounds like we came to play.

Crowd having a sing before Woolery....goes down to no avail. Davies, Clough......ohhh, and Woolery has a shot deflected for a corner. And....Clough and.......and.....cleared and....they win a throw. Ream's season ends as Garbutt replaces him as a sub.

Can we manage a goal lads? Yes we can...surely....but McCormack forces a clearance out of us. More Brentford chat from micman ...and we go to the studio for a Tweet session, oh goody. Oh, nice one, they scored whilst al that was happening. 1-0 them. :(

Sounds like a proper shafting. By a team only two places above the relegation zone...bit like when Rotherham stuffed us. Be glad in 10 mins when it's all over.
