If you want the episode stuff, try Bosch. It's pretty decent.

Lenny Henry's just receiving a lifetime achievement award. I take it that it must be for his charity work!

Birdman. Wanted to like it, but couldn't. Too self-conceited. Wasn't a total waste of time, watching Edward Norton never is, but I hated the ending. I mean *hated*.
Semi-not-really-a-spoiler: Getting sick of writers thinking ambiguous endings are profound in and of themselves.

I re-watched The Score last night with Robert de Niro and Edward Norton. Norton's intellectually disabled janitor scam was just brilliant acting, as was his whole role in the film. .Prufrock wrote:Birdman. Wanted to like it, but couldn't. Too self-conceited. Finished watching Into the Wild last night. Reading up on it there appears to be two trains of thought. One is that the lad followed his dreams and died following them. The second is that he was a complete and utter bellend. I'm with the latter!

That film winning the best picture Oscar was proper emperor's new clothes stuff. Can't believe it's as highly regarded as it is. I rolling my eyes most of the time.Prufrock wrote:Birdman. Nero fiddles while Gordon Burns.
Re: What are you watching tonight?
Agreed Birdman was a bit silly, but the soundtrack was superb! And the composer is coming to Manchester in July

I have 'Hush' coming to me, heartily recommended to me by Girl Friday. It looks a bit grim upon a read-up. Anyone on here watched it?
