Kit/merch sale: further cuts
Can't find the thread, but there's further reductions in [url=
http://www.bwfcdirect.co.uk/Sale" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]the club's official merchandise sale[/url]. Shirts (inc the blue/black charity one) down to £10 - and I have to say the shirts were about the best thing this season.

Couldn't help myself getting the home and charity tops, and as it happens I could use a pair of socks, and they're a bargain... but no, I stopped myself above the waistline.Burnden Paddock wrote:Become a full kit wanker for as little as £15!

They won't be making much from the charity shirts. '£10 from every shirt sold will be donated to Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme'Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Couldn't help myself getting the home and charity tops, and as it happens I could use a pair of socks, and they're a bargain... but no, I stopped myself above the waistline.Burnden Paddock wrote:Become a full kit wanker for as little as £15!

I'm tempted by both tbh, but will have to call into the shop tomorrow as I have had a sudden growth spurt (outwardly) in the last few months.

Aye, they've only got M and L left (online). You could stitch two together...Burnden Paddock wrote:I'm tempted by both tbh, but will have to call into the shop tomorrow as I have had a sudden growth spurt (outwardly) in the last few months.

My brothers 21st is coming up so I might get him a personalised full kit wanker set, though I'm not sure they'd print 'Nob Ed' on the back even if that is his family nickname.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Couldn't help myself getting the home and charity tops, and as it happens I could use a pair of socks, and they're a bargain... but no, I stopped myself above the waistline.Burnden Paddock wrote:Become a full kit wanker for as little as £15!

The 3rd kit has sold out during the time I was trying to checkout but it was refusing to process the order.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:If it's an M you need, you need feeding up, ladBurnden Paddock wrote:I'm not that bloody fat!! Second time in 5 years we've been relegated with a black away kit. Time to sack that particular idea off. A team of referees aint our thing.
Is there any kind of study regarding the visibility of playing in a team with a dark strip compared to a lighter coloured one? I mean, we need all the help we can get when it comes to passing to one another so if we're not helping ourselves by choosing to line up in black then we need to look at that and not consider it again...
My favourite away kits of yesteryear, funnily enough, were those that we had around the time I was young enough to get passionate about following BWFC. The back-to-back yellow away kits from around 90-95. Love that pinstripe one.

There was that game, that was quite funny, when the Redshite got beat 6-3 (?) at Southampton and blamed the grey kit for not being able to see each other....Dr Hotdog wrote:Second time in 5 years we've been relegated with a black away kit. I'm sure if you asked Jamie Pollock nicely, he'd send you one of his recent shirts??Burnden Paddock wrote:They won't be making much from the charity shirts. How it's managed to shrink all by itself when it's been shoved in a drawer for 25 years is something of a mystery.Worthy4England wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:I still have one of these

May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Kit/merch sale: further cuts
Those old shirts had a tendency to do that. I also have a couple that have also shrunk.
