The business model is changing. Websites that have enough eyeballs on them are always going to make money... if making money is part of the plan.LeverEnd wrote:We'd be left with LionofViennaSuite or the bwfc.co.uk propaganda machine.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:I'd miss him if he went, just as I'm sure a lot of people will miss a lot of journalists when the industry finally implodes under the cost of being asked to provide a lot for nothing.

And if a website about Bolton Wanderers doesn't get enough eyeballs, feck 'em. They can read a Man United website instead...Armchair Wanderer wrote:The business model is changing. Phil Browns odds are now 2/1.....lol
Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
If anybody had solid information he's going to be the new manager he'd be a lot closer than 2/1.
Not worth paying attention to until somebody moves odds-on.

I really don't think an 'old boys' and 'mates' network is going to do the club any good at all.palekm08 wrote:Phil Browns odds are now 2/1.....lol
Just find some obnoxious tyrant who knows how to win, give him a brief, then step back.

I hear Neil Warnock is still available hobes.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Needs must, I really don't know why some people want a PR man as manager, win games, play some reasonable football, get us heading back upwards and frankly I wouldn't care if I didn't know his nameLord Kangana wrote:I hear Neil Warnock is still available hobes.

Though sticking Phillips on the pitch would result in more goals than the current mobBruce Rioja wrote:Oh good. It won't be Reid and Kevin Phillips then.BWFC_Insane wrote:Reid with Kevin Phillips according to everyone's favourite Scottish journalist....

Way things seem to be going financially, our owner, manager, trainer, kitman and striker will all be Dean Holdsworth.

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
The Clown made an excellent point to me recently around Giggs, which was that since the age of 17, he's been on tens of thousands a week, playing at the top level. He's now had a season coaching at the top level at which he has arguably failed. He presumably therefore, has no idea what motivates lower league players, what is required to play at a lower level or the tactics and graft that might be needed to win.
Oh, and he's red scum.

Why on earth would Ryan Giggs shove his cock in our bacon slicer?
If he really wants to "prove himself" there'll be a dozen easier opportunities than ours.
