About one in six, Wiki says. It also has him down as being a winger. I'd say that's a decent return really.Prufrock wrote:I'd take him. Bit of a joke him playing international football but he's quick, decent in the air, works hard. Doesn't score enough but could be a decent foil if we can get goals from midfield.

Meh !!Bruce Rioja wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Heard a rumour from someone I know with decent links to some staff at the club, Steve Cotterill announced tomorrow, press conference Monday/Tuesday.
Same person was bang on about Freedman but also told me we were getting Chris Coleman when it turned out to be Megson....We shall see...think I'd prefer Adkins personally....
Decent links indeed.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Anderson says embargo lifted by end of the month, well that is claimed, but no actual quotes support that.
Anyway, seems like Eddie and the outgoing board left a few nasty financial surprises. #legacy

Was on loan at Bradford from Preston last season. Just been released by Preston. Has he been linked?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Summat in the BEN, but it was written by Iles (whilst simultaneously benefitting from a BWFC-I Cleveland Steamer, no doubt), so it more than likely to be absolute bollocks.Lord Kangana wrote:Was on loan at Bradford from Preston last season. Just been released by Preston. Has he been linked?

Parky, BN:
They [Ken&Dean] have offered advice [on players to buy] and to be honest we have pooled it all together. It would be crazy not to listen to what their thoughts are but, of course, I have my own ideas.
The good thing for me is that my thinking is not far away from those of the owners, so I am confident we can get to where we want to be.
Ideally I would want my own core of players but I have got my eye on supplementing that with one or two quality six-month or year-long loan players if they are needed.
Bolton have had success going down that road before but it isn’t something I want to depend on.
We want to target our own squad and make sure that is up to scratch before looking to add anything extra with loans. And I think those kind of players tend to take the most time as managers want them to stay during pre-season so they can take a good look at them and use them in the friendly games.
Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru
Good times. Let's hope the whole mess does get sorted out and we can start signing some players
Pfffft.
Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru
Ha, only me unconvinced by the sincerity of his sentiments?
"Yeah, no, it's been great, they've had some bold ideas and we've pooled them together and you know I already thought similarly myself so we'll see and I've taken their excellent ideas on board".

The old Yes/No start always sounds like an assertive position to me.

Used to play for Sheffield Weds. Think we were linked quite heavily with him when Megaton was here ave he was a highly rated young cb. Played in the play off final against Barnsley and scored I think. Solid enough when I've seen him.
