What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

This morning my gaffer's brought me in a DVD, a per pros nowt other than he thinks I'll enjoy it, a film called Conspiracy with Kenneth Brannagh and Colin Firth in it. As I'm clearly now obliged to watch it - is it any good? :conf:

Given those two bits, I'd say it was great, right up your street.

I think it's truly excellent. It's a dramatised account of the Wannsee conference where the 'final solution' was laid out. Totally chilling!

Watched an old 2001 film, The Last Castle. Life in an American military prison with all the usual "God Save America" Marine stuff you'd expect. Passable as a film, but well worth the watch for a staggering performance by the late James Gandolfini. Absolutely brilliant portrayal of a sadistic prison govenor.

Wasn't the best film, but I loved him in Killing Them Softly. Haven't seen The Mexican yet.

Lovely show. Would never have found it myself!
Him & Her by the same writer, also on iPlayer, starting Russell Tovey, is glorious too.

Watching the Glastonbury acts in the best way possible. In the comfort of my living room. Loving the retro acts this year - New Order last night and ELO, St Ettiene this afternoon. Excellent

Watched ELO. Jeff Lynne had the auto-tuner turned up to Spinal Tap's 11, I see. They were still quite ggod, but far from what I'd hoped for.

Have you watched this yet Bruce? I think its an excellent piece of drama, but it requires me to be in a mood for concentrating, it' s not exactly light-hearted.

I started to watch it, LK, and pretty much immediately realised that it would require a far greater investment of my attention than I had to spare on that particular evening, so I've postponed it, possibly until this weekend.

I watched Palio the other night. A film about the allowed corruption, of a centuries old and brutal twice yearly Horse Race in Siena, Italy.

It's in subtitles for the snobs, so you lot will like it.

8/10
