Re: Brexit or Britin
Of course they won't! Only an idiot would. Despite article 50 saying they can't negotiate before it is enacted, they'll have to negotiate before it's enacted. After all, half the country don't want any change, so any party is going to find it difficult to sell the idea of economic turmoil to them for no understandable benefit.

Re: Brexit or Britin
You may recall me posting last week that my Italian colleague and his Polish wife returned home last week to find a Union Jack shoved through their door with "feck off home" on it? Well, this morning some bright nice person decided to throw eggs at their windows. Charming.

f**cking imbeciles - should be locked up with the keys well and truly thrown away (the eejuts who did the Union Jack/eggs that is, not your mates - for the avoidance of doubt.....)
I'm not really a political animal, but this kind of shit really winds me up. This whole problem and situation has been caused by the scarily large bit of the population of the country who can't even spell their own names and don't know what day of the week it is, let alone what the EU actually is, voting for something they clearly didn't understand, just cos some shitty tabloid with their own agenda told them to.
Its an absolute disgrace and frankly proves that democracy just doesn't work in a society where a large percentage of the population is fighting over the same handful of brain cells.
Next time we have a referendum or a vote, as well as having to confirm your name and address when you go to the ballot box, they should add in a simple IQ test as well to weed out the village idiots (something like asking them to tie their own shoelaces, spell their own name, count up to ten, or god forbid a question about the subject they are actually voting on...).
Sorry - rant over.

It must be someone who knows them Bruce. Have they been to the Police? They should, these incidents are, quite rightly, being taken very seriously right now.

Dave - your rant is my rant, Brother. He does the same job as me and his Mrs is the assistant manager in a Manchester bank. I'd happily wager that between the pair of them they're actually paying in more than the racist, egg-chucking prick takes out.
LK - we can't get him to go to the Police as his wife is absolutely shitting herself and doesn't want to escalate it. They're hoping that it'll blow over. He says that they don't really speak much with the neighbours beyond exchanging pleasantries.

Maybe we can set up a rota of us standing outside his house with big f*ck off sticks?
Really boils my piss that this referendum was hijacked by, and used as an excuse by, the kind of c*nts that don't deserve, and can't understand what it really means, to live in a democracy. Genuinely makes me ashamed of our country.

Obviously it shouldn't have been covered up and swept under the rugs. You conveniently missed what I said in my next paragraph...Worthy4England wrote:Hardly an advocacy of the openness and direct accountability I was hoping for in our brave new non-cover-up world. TTIP negotiating positions all out there on a website for all to read - If the underlying economics are solid then everything will be ok. This is something that people who have their money in trust with that institution, shouldn't know about? It should just be covered up by the grubby bastards that put in place the policy that caused it? Beggars belief.

How else would you advise that it's reported that the world is about to go to ratshit?

Re: Brexit or Britin
I suspect in their heart of hearts that once all the bullshit is exposed, Leave could never again gain such a groundswell of opinion ( I understand on the back of this the electoral commision is looking into compelling campaigns into revealing and verifying the source of their claims, but its a bit late for that).
And is this not what democracy is anyway? Perhaps if they don't like it, the leavers could speed up the process of getting out of the EU and exercise their own freedom of movement by f*cking off somehwere else. I suggest Norway or Australia, as I keep hearing how wonderful those places are.

Our 'points' system wouldn't let 'em get in down here, LK. - which is why it's as good a place as it is.

So do you condone the vandalism of property belonging to people simply because they're from a different country then?Hoboh wrote:

Why thank you. Been called many things before, but condescending twit (sure you didn't mean to use an "a" instead of "I"?) is a new one, so thanks for that.
A couple of points to respond though.
Whilst I personally wanted remain, I have absolutely no issue whatsoever with anyone who voted leave as long as they did so on the back of a reasonably thought through argument. However much I disagree with the reasons to leave I have the utmost respect for everyone who considered these and based their view accordingly.
Unfortunately though for this country there is a very large population that are, quite frankly, stupid. If this makes me a condescending twit then so be it, but it's true I'm afraid, and yes, I do have a superior intelligence to these people. These are the people who believe every word the tabloids put to them, and voted leave for fear we'd be overrun by "bloody foreigners" and the country would go to pot. These are the people who have zero understanding of the impact and repercussions of stock market volatility, exchange rate fluctuations, and on employment as businesses consider quitting the hood delaying investment due to uncertainty.
Don't get me wrong - my views on democracy not working are not just based o. The referendum. This is just a excellent example of why a system that allows every person an equal vote on serious matters that they don't have a scooby about must be flawed.
How can it be right that the sort of knob head that resorts to the racist activity mentioned before canbe given the opportunity to vote on and influence such a massive national interest issue when he/she is clearly an imbecile?
