One important thing to note is that these appear very much to be Parky's signings. It worrried me a bit when I heard that the new owners would be in control of player recruitment.

I noticed that. It was quick enough to list him as a Bolton player so would seem odd if they hadn't updated last season's appearances. He's had a pretty solid career up to now and is still young, so looks like a good signing
