Re: Brexit or Britin
I was aiming for fascist. Ah well. Perhaps that would involve immigrants under the 6 foot square patio built by good old fashioned navvies labourers?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Now you are being immigrantist in addition to your recent Marxist/Leninist faux pas. Is there some hope for you or will you continue your recidivism?Lord Kangana wrote:I was aiming for fascist. I can get on it bish. Just says, and perhaps we need a drum roll here, that the retail sector has seen a dip since the referendum.

Do you pay attention to the usual ups and downs on a daily basis or is it a just a new fad because all the media and rest of your remaining buddy's are determined to mark down Brexit as doom and gloom?
The Charlatans on short term outlooks are just stashing up more enemy's and getting one step closer to the wall come the day of the revolution.
Sensible people will await a new PM who sets out which direction we are taking towards the EU and any negotiations.
Until then Nothing has physically changed, well maybe Juncker and co are realising their Europhilic ways are coming to an end.

I thought we'd voted to leave the EU?

I can't believe you folks sometimes. If something "falls through the floor" it was destined to do so anyway. If something "hits dizzy new heights" it's because we voted to leave. What could be simpler?

Like markets and currency don't rise and fall at the merest hint of something different happening, traders and dealers are the biggest panic fannies ever and the importance we give to a bunch of pissed up, cokeheads beggars belief.
God help us if a flying saucer ever shows up, question is will the markets go up, or down?

To be fair. Flying saucers are nowhere near the most ludicrous suggestion we heard from Brexit. I suspect from your earlier comments, we couldn't leave it to the young snowflakes, so we'd be heavily reliant on your experiences in this area.Hoboh wrote:Worthy4England wrote:I can't believe you folks sometimes. Well I thought I saw one late at night years ago while fishing on a Cumbrian beach, (well early hours of the morning actually) and it was near SellafieldWorthy4England wrote:To be fair. Shock horror! Panic fannies, as Hoboh likes to say
Q3 is the annual lull on highstreet. Always been the same
It's also the go-slow period for imports and exports. Always been this way.
If it's quiet in September and October then that's different. But it won't be.

Aye - they were comparing to data from the same week in previous years. The data was to do with footfall - which is rather tenuous - sure, you don't get sales on the high street without footfall, but less footfall could still generate higher sales. I mean sales of Lambrini probably rocketed in Sunderland...

Reality is, the effects of the vote aren't going to pan out fully, the day after - they never were.
