Official Twitter says we started with a diamond 442
First half: Howard; Eardley, Wheater, Beevers, Moxey; Spearing behind Pratley and Vela; Clayton behind Madine and Woolery.
Second half, eventually changed to a standard 442: Amos; Wilson, Dervite, Beevers (Finney 66), Moxey (Honeyball 68); Pratley (Walker 66), Davies, Spearing (Trotter 66), Clayton (Taylor 66); Madine (Clough 66), Woolery (Wilkinson 66).

Lad who scored for them is my bosses son.

Luckily, he's not in today

Superb from clough. PP has some serious work to do with that defence, especially Beevers.

Goal from a set-piece...?

With what looks like the luckiest bounce since the one that sent Ireland out of Euro 88

Certainly a bit of leg-spin on that one.

There are some sporting moments that never leave you. I was sat down at fine leg for that ball and can still see it clear as day (although I of course long handled it over cow corner for 6).... :-)

Per BN, tonight's team (against Crewe's first XI) will be a mix of youth, youth trialists and senior players who haven't had much game time. Senior trialists like Eardley, Richardson, Greer and Wheater might feature, and I guess we need to start pushing players on from the 45-60 minutes they've been having.

Fun, isn't it? I'm not a cricket fan but it's a superb album. The others aren't as frivolous as this but there's some genuine tunes on there.

Also - that's a very funny video, gotta love a bit of amusingly obvious imagery. See also:

I particularly liked their use of a pic of Heskey after the line "easily defended"
