Bobo phone curse. I bet he is though. If he were my Facebook friends and posted a pouting selfie, I'd definitely comment 'gawjus' (more meaningful spelt that way).

or... that's the start of a revelatory mark Davies season-long masterclass...Hoboh wrote:Oh wonderful, that's him done for 6 months then!A big plus for Parkinson is the fact Mark Davies produced his best show of pre-season to date. He opened the scoring with a great half-volley from Gary Madine’s knock down and generally drove a midfield which has been a little too passive in recent weeks.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
I just popped into Smiths to have a look at 442s season preview. Was a bit depressing really. We're several pages further back than we used to be and now only merit a few paragraphs. We had one or two mentions from clubs looking forward to playing us; Oldham fan said it had been a while since we'd locked horns, Fleetwood fan had to pinch himself that it was now their local derby and the usual bile from the feckin Bury fan

I remember once seeing England's new manager in the Co-op on Darwen Road hogging the news stand. He had every paper open on the football pages and didn't buy a single copy of anything. He's clearly as tight as a gnatt's chuff as well.Harry Genshaw wrote:Bruce Rioja wrote:More like his brother by the dayDave Sutton's barnet wrote:Get it bought, you tightarse, we've got printers to feed. I'm not paying £5 when (1) it used to come with the magazine for free and (2) I can read the important bits in Smiths before someone says "are you going to buy that? !"

^ really? It was on its own on the shelf priced at 4.99. No sign of the actual mag. In the past it came together with the magazine and in a cellophane wrapper so herberts like me had to buy it! Perhaps some chav had separated them

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
I know that its only a friendly, but that's a fcuking shite unbalanced side IMO....if we start the season with that team we'll be lucky to be top half and to be honest the subs bench is mainly development players.
But its only a couple of weeks until the start of the season, and to me it's not looking good putting that side out in the next to last pre season game & I was one who was convinced we'd go straight back up

0-1 down. Wheater giving away the most blatant penalty you'll ever see
