They're also very nervous. I watched them a couple of times last season and their 2 centre backs were little better than pub team players. I'm told their defending hasn't improved much in their first few matches.
2-0 to us, Beevers and Clough.
I think it's how he tells them. I think maybe you have to be there.
What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

I'm sick of all these fish-based puns. I'll just skate through this thread.

Early Fleetwood Town news: Striker Ashley Hunter has netted himself a new deal. Captain Nathan Pond is expected to be fit. Manager Uwe Rosler is looking forward to swimming with the bigger fish as his side take on league leaders and recent premiership side Bolton knowing they will not be cast adrift even if things don't go well due to their own buoyant start.

I've heard that Rosler's in for Zander Diamond.

Parky, per BN:
I’m delighted with how we have started the season in the league but it’s important we don’t get carried away with it. Watching Sky Sports go round and seeing the club topping the table is fun. It doesn’t mean that much at this stage but it’s nice to be up there.
We’ve got to keep our feet right on the ground and discuss the qualities we have shown in the first three games. I think we’ve got enough experience in the dressing room to not let this get to them.
We needed the confidence lift, especially away from home. And you could see with the extra bits of quality we showed at Bristol that we’d improved from the Wimbledon game. We need to be confident now but a quiet confidence, a steely determination to keep going.
Fleetwood played on the same night [this midweek], which is a bonus for us. We need to regroup, refuel, rest up and come in ready to go again. These games come thick and fast but it’s a lot better when you are winning them. We’ll run out with a spring in our step on Saturday.
[On why Conor Wilkinson played at Rovers] Max Clayton is having ongoing problems with his knee and I wanted to have three strikers. I thought [Wilkinson] made a good contribution.

PP, per(ch) Twitter
We're very pleased. Winning tomorrow is a great incentive for us. It'll be tough but we are looking for more of the same. Fleetwood are a good team. They've invested wisely in recent years and I expect them to challenge near the top this year.
We've added some good characters to our group. Spirit and heart can take you a long way.
We're realistic and are working very hard to add to our own squad. I speak to the Chairman regularly about our plans. We will have to be patient. There is interest in players but we'd like to keep our quality players, and add to them if possible.
We're pleased with Josh Vela. Speculation can be hard for young lads but I think he's been tremendous. His number one position is in midfield. That is how we see him, but his versatility is a bonus for us.
We all want to be part of turning things around here. We've made a start, but it is just a small start.
We've only had today to assess everyone really. Recovery of the players is the most important thing having played on Wednesday. Jamie Proctor has a slight problem with his hamstring. We'll have to monitor him and make a decision tomorrow. We do have players who haven't featured much yet. They'll be eager to get the chance to impress and there will be opportunities.

If it was a sell out there would be ticket trouts.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
