Well deserved that. Thought Ameobi was a big difference when he came on - great skill at the end as well!

Hopefully that gets the monkey off our back and we can get that final shot or ball right - the only thing we lacked today.

Big shout to benching that useless lump Trotter as well. Looked more energetic in the middle of the park without him. Thorpe also did his share ofthe dirty work, Spearing and Vela played well. Keeping Trotter out of the team is going to be key for us I feel.

Eh? Thought Thompson was their best player by a distance.

System looked more balanced with two midfield players in there. Whether that's because Trotter didn't play or not I'm not sure. But energy much better.

Was saying this to the wife. Less was lobbed long and went down the right. Looks like he needed a little confidence.

All this talk about Clough being bobbins is way off btw. The lad has got the world on his shoulders as he's the messiah that is going to lead us to the promised land. Lets let him make his mistakes like everyone else and see what he's got with a little bit of backing.

Vela. MOTM for me. Seemed to be everywhere.

That pretend death stroke from Madine was a joke with a capital J, as was his persistent fouling...

People slag off others but Clough gets an easy ride. He was as poor as Henry today. Might as well be honest and admit that. Also Clough looks miles off someone who will bag lots of goals in this league. He isn't the answer to our prayers. And if we are honest isn't any better than Henry really.

There is no answer to our prayers. Every game in this league will be a tooth and nail scrap. We just have to keep battling and hope somebody will find a scoring touch. Their keeper is a real tryer and didn't really deserve to be on the losing side. That said, two shots lifted/lobbed instead of blasted would have nailed it for us. We won and away. That's it.

And that's where I am. How many times have shitty late goals against gone against us over the past year or two? I'm delighted to have one in our favour. feck 'em :)

vela was excellent today. I've castigated the lad at times this season, but today he played across the width of the pitch, defended well and always wanted the ball. Arguably, it was his pressure on the defender that got us the goal. Again at times we were much too pedestrian and when we moved the ball quickly, space opened up for us. Why we can't learn from that is beyond me as it happens each and every match.

Clough - we own him, he's a young(ish) lad with a lot of talent. We are hoping he develops into a player who can either play for us at a better level or we sell him to a bigger team.

Henry - is ours for 3 months, has a good record at this level and is owned by wolves. To be frank if he doesn't have an immediate impact he is a waste of wages.

Thats the difference isn't it?

Thought Clough was more use than henry today, but both misses were dissapointing.

That's because Trotter wasn't getting in the way
