Obviously Davids don't work up front for us. Well, not since the bloke who Arsenal nicked by getting our directors pissed.Bruce Rioja wrote:David Reeves and David N'Gog

The lad said he quite liked being on the left as he was able to cut in and shoot. T'was an interview with the lad on the youtube club thingyBruce Rioja wrote:Clough didn't look to be on the left to me.BWFC_Insane wrote:Clough was on the left, Ameobi on the right. When the young 'un who is always injured (forget his name) gets fit again I reckon we stick him on the right of the 3 - Madine might score the odd one off his arse with Clough and the injured one buzzing around him.

I wondered about him - heard his name a lot but he was about six months before I started going regularly... and according to teh interwebz he scored 11 in 23 for us despite being 35... that sound right?!Bruce Rioja wrote:There's possibly a Dodgy Daves article in this.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Obviously Davids don't work up front for us. Yep. He was quite handy. We ended up loaning him out to Bury though for some reason. If I were to put my neck on the block then I'd say that he was Phil Neal's first signing. I remember him scoring on his debut for us against (I think, and I'll check when I get home) Chesterfield?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:I wondered about him - heard his name a lot but he was about six months before I started going regularly... and according to teh interwebz he scored 11 in 23 for us despite being 35... that sound right?!Bruce Rioja wrote:There's possibly a Dodgy Daves article in this.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Obviously Davids don't work up front for us. Such details are now sadly scant, since that bloke's version of the old Simon Marland history/stat-book fell offline. (Actiually, cam you still get that book, as a good old-fashioned paper book?)Bruce Rioja wrote:Yep. He was quite handy. We ended up loaning him out to Bury though for some reason. I read somewhere that while he was in our employ he fractured his skull... and we loaned him to Bury. There's a joke in there somewhere.

David Cross was signed by Charlie Wright, Bruce. You might recall a pic at the time of his 5 pre season signings - Cross, Asa Hartford, Sam, Dave Sutton and Derek Scott. I think he was gambling on experience there
