The ringleader, Linda Sarsour, is an advocate of Sharia Law. She's seemingly successfully converted thousands of (you'd assume) intelligent women, including US politicians to Islam, which hardly puts women's rights on the top of their agenda.. She's also been tweeting hateful comments about a lady named Ayaan Hirsi Ali and saying she should have "her vagina taken away", so in essence, she wants to "grab em by the pussy" which is one of the comments, they are saying is so hateful, so sexist and hurtful, it deserves a protest... This lady she's been bullying, is a proper rights campaigner, seeing as she goes around spreading the word about Female Genital Mutilation, of which she is a victim. She turned her back on her faith as a result of that and has come in for massive criticism from Linda Sarsour and her 'cronies'.

Is it just me, who thinks there;'s more to all of this that meets the eye?

People protesting about Trump being "divisive"(he clearly is), but then kicking the f&ck out of anybody who doesn't totally share their views (how liberal) and this women's march somehow turning into a faith competition led by a pretty despicable woman.

W've also got Islamic State shouting about how they want to recruit left wing activists, because they share their ideals about the downfall of the West.

It's all gong a bit.. Erm... West
She's one of several "organisers" and isn't the founder. But she's Muslim so the right wing propaganda machine has had a field day with half truths and half baked stories.

Lap it up, if you think that is more worrying than a dangerous, evil, angry man in charge of the nuke codes.
Nothing he's done yet, has shown to be evil. But he is a big fvckin worry for sure. He's not alone though, you'd surely agree with that?
He and his administration are trying to suppress the truth. I personally think that is pretty evil. Define it how you like.

I certainly think he is orders of magnitudes more worrying than the women who are protesting. Frankly I'm more concerned by someone who would condemn a protest.
Why are they not protesting about woman's rights in the Muslim world instead of something Trump once said?

What has he done to affect women so badly? Abortion? well it sure as hell should not be available as a lifestyle choice, only in health and rape cases.

Right wing? :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

http://ikhras.com/fake-activist-exposed ... a-sarsour/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Why have you linked an opinion piece from some clearly disgruntled rival Arab movement?

I read the first bit. She thinks "Israel has a right to exist". Well blow me down. She must be a right nutter. Only the piece you linked me to, is trying to make that very argument.....I stopped reading.
For once, read on.
There is a lot more about this woman who aligns herself with all sorts of movements, many who contradict each other in other articles but I didn't post them because clearly they were not written by your leftie luvies.
The woman is clearly on the make and building up to a career in politics, do your research, you'll find it true.
Oh and you'll find she already is well versed in the way of spinning porkies.

http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2010/03 ... rs-balloon" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
," June 2009: "I get excited when Daniel Pipes writes about me. He's my publicist. When someone says you have a 'powerbase' that's like you walk down the street and have a million man march behind you. People want to talk to me all the time after he wrote all that crazy shit about me."
.
" March 16, 2010: "hatemongers like Daniel Pipes and Emerson Vermaat and others have tried to paint me as a Hamas Sympathizer and they have failed miserably. They actually have helped my career in so many ways. For them to think that I am so important of a person, so influential, that they tried to take me down, has actually made me just that - an important and influential person in the Arab and Muslim community nationally. I am frequently contacted by local, national and international media as an expert on Arab and Muslim issues or to gain the perspective of an Arab and Muslim - so THANK YOU Mr. Pipes!"
YOU'RE WELCOME, Ms Sarsour!
There's just one little problem with these two quotes. I hate to pop Sarsour's balloon, but until this blog I never wrote about her. Indeed, until today, I'd never even heard of her. So, whatever great things you have achieved, Linda, you did them on your own, without benefit of help from me.
And? So what? She is one of several organisers of this protest. Would I vote for her in an election? No.

Not really sure how this is relevant. You don't have to support her to agree with her stance or Trump. Or any of the other organisations involved in planning the protest. Or the founder of the protest itself.

Well, once again thank you for your fantastic social analysis and commentary.

I suspect, that the reason they aren't marching on Washington about "women's rights" in the Muslim world, and forgive me if this is a little off-beam, but perhaps a theory to consider, IS THAT THE USA ISN'T IN THE FCKING MUSLIM WORLD. AND THAT IS WHERE THEY ARE FROM.

I mean, yes what HAS Trump done that is so bad to women? Apart from brag about sexual assault, and trying to take their rights away. Christ, I don't know what they've got to moan about at all. They should know their place, these women.

People can protest all they like, I'm all for peaceful protest (is there such a thing anymore?), but this one is way off the mark..

Part of me just wishes I could fast forward time a little, so that when the piss poor Orangutan tribute act f*cknugget finally starts screwing people over you do like, we can just say told you so.

Because sure as bears shit in woods and Pope's practice Catholicism, you are somewhere in line for a good shafting from Trump and his ilk . It's just your ticket hasn't been called yet. Have patience.

Exactly what rights has he taken away?

And the UK is not in the USA as well, so wtf are they protesting about over here? Solidarity? If that is the case what about solidarity with the Muslim sisters because they sure as hell have their 'rights' curtailed even in this country.

Exactly what rights has he taken away?

He has promised to appoint a Supreme Court justice who will overturn Roe v Wade. This is significant.

I see Microsoft are railing against Trump. This is five hundred billion dollar, US based Microsoft. Hardly known for their leftist stances or their anti establishment views.

You know as president of the USA you are in trouble when one of your biggest homegrown companies has openly and publically criticised you. Especially one as typically conservative as Microsoft.

Remain claim: “The free movement of people helps Britons study, work and retire to Europe. A total of 2.2 million Britons live in other EU countries – almost as many as the number of EU citizens living here.”
Yeah stupid cnuts who believed all that!
About 900,000 British citizens are living in other European Union countries – fewer than the previous widely quoted estimate of 1.2 million, according to research by the Office of National Statistics.
The new lower estimate is likely to have implications for the forthcoming negotiations between Britain and the EU over the future residency rights of the 3.15 million EU nationals living in the UK and British citizens in the rest of the bloc.

I will concede that since Erdoğan has decided to climb into bed with Putin, membership is now probably a non-starter.
It wasn't the case before the vote, if the flow of refugees had not been stemmed, Merkel and a few others would have changed their tune in the better interests of the EU.
I shudder to think what pressure Putin applied.

I just see a race to the bottom here. The inefficacy of Jeremy will be matched midway by Theresa's cozying up to the utterly vile Trump. We're fecked so I say let's just get the booze out and party our way to oblivion. :pissed:

So far, with the Trump administration we have...

An act to start the process of building a wall
Talk of reintroducing torture - the man himself says it works
Banning people from entire countries from entering the US
Kids under 5 being detained in airports
A press secretary who talks about 'alternative facts'
The man himself harassing a photographer over the inauguration photos as they didn't show that many people, despite the fact all photos in fact showed that to be the case
Banning of social media amongst state employees who voice any views that aren't in line with Trump's

Essentially this is moving towards Nazi Germany. And Godwin can shove that right up his arse.
