Re: Tonight's Football
Absolutely disgraceful. They need to remember where they were just before they appointed Ranieri. I had hoped they would stay up, but would love to see them go down now.

Gah, it's the hope that kills you.

He's a bit quicker than Trotter, but not sure he has the passing range.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2017 10:12 pmLet us not be naive about this, how fecking good is Eden Hazard?!

I hope Suarez breaks his legs in the next game. Cheating bastard.
Insane bit of football but it shouldn't have happened.

Ha! Though if I were him I must say I'd be struggling to get my head around it too given who is in their plans!

Just watching MotD from last night. In the West Ham vs Leicester game Kasper Schmeichel makes an absolutely outstanding save from a point blank shot by Andy Carroll. As such, the commentator and the studio panel start falling over themselves to draw parallels with his dad.
At which point does the world come to recognise that Kasper Scmeichel is an excellent goalkeeper in his own right?

But then how would that benefit the united supporting audience?Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2017 1:11 pmJust watching MotD from last night. Re: Tonight's Football
Big sam with his arms in the air and a face like he was being noshed off. Brilliant!
Shame Townsend had to dive to get the penalty, otherwise they were excellent.

Re: Tonight's Football
How Wenger stays in a job is absolutely beyond me. Since 2013 they've spent 197M. That figure is only surpassed by the two Manchester clubs. Yet Arsenal continue to slide backwards, with no sign at all that Wenger has learned (in the last 10 years) that you can't win anything with a side of technically gifted, but physically and mentally weak players. The fact season after season the story is roughly the same for Arsenal surely points to one thing. A manager unable or unwilling to do what it takes to make them compete for the top honours.
How, is he still in a job? How on earth can they be giving him a new contract? Madness.

Can I be the first to suggest Big Sam for the Arsenal job.
He can spend money AND motivate players.
