He also said he'd permanently invest some of his own money at that point too....Abdoulaye's Twin wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 11:14 amHang on. Didn't Kenneth tell us numerous times that he had investment lined up ready to go and just needed to get Deano out of the way?

"Hopefully, the above will help clarify matters" – not really.
Is he saying it's not for sale?
Not for sale at that price?
That said price is just an asset value rather than an actual starting price for negotiations? ("It's worth £25m. Offer me £50m and we'll talk.")

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
The £25M is presumably the price it takes to wipe debts at point of sale and leave Ken with a nice profit. It doesn't seem unreasonable to me....except Ken and Dean bought the club for £1. Have the really added that much value to the business? Some I suspect. But that much? Be an interesting pitch to Dragon's Den for sure.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 12:57 pm"Hopefully, the above will help clarify matters" – not really.

That "Note from the chairman" sounded sane and proportionate, and communicative, and down to earth, and refreshingly honest...Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Fri Oct 06, 2017 11:35 amThe most recent Kenny Log-Ins says we're only for sale if someone comes in with serious wedge and that Isles is talking shite as per.

Not to overstate the obvious, but nothing we didn't know already. K.A is money player/business man. He might support Bolton, but his poriority starts with a £ sign and money is the priority over sport. He hasn't got the funds to bring back the glory days of us being a big club again and unless he can offload the club his chances of a big profit are diminishing weekly. On the other side of the coin, he can't afford to be in a situation that's costing him money, who would, so it's pointless slating him at all. If he can sell the club to someone who can invest and change our fortunes, we'll owe him a big vote of thanks. Right now we're his club and his responsibility, and it's a pretty big one at that. Good luck to him.

I just wish that he'd change that photograph to something a little less suggestive of intense manic-depressive tendencies

I few weeks ago prospective buyers were put off by KA asking for £500k just to look at the books. It obviously put everyone off as it seems like this is abridged version to get people interested again. Perhaps.

It might be Ken just pre-empting the terms of the AVC in case he loses the appeal. Putting the club up for sale now so he can sell it at short notice in six months time? Perhaps.

Its always been up for sale hasnt it? Right since Ken and Dean got hold of it? Its just it was impossible to sell thanks to dickhead deans payday loan. Any sale would take longer with anACV I think which is why kens dead against it.

He's still valuing it such that he'll make a vast profit. Not a little, and not one that reflects any 'risk' he's placed into the club... just a vast profit.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Fred Done is a business man - and wants to advertise on our shirts to get more mug punters to part with their ££ and line his pockets
Fred Done is also a life long dyed in the wool Man Utd fan - why on earth do people think he is interested in buying and investing in us ?

Brett Warburton resigned from the Bolton board in March saying it was a good time to do so with Eddie Davies selling the club and Phil Gartside passing on. Had he looked in the crystal ball? The Warburton company have a few hundred millions so, it it was thought B.W.F.C were a viable prospect...or not...It looks like a couple of billion rather than millions are going to be needed to make us a force again....if ever? I want to be positive, but it isn't easy....

After the debt, won't be all that much. Anyhow nobody is buying us for 25M. Barely anybody wanted us for £1!Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2017 4:50 pmHe's still valuing it such that he'll make a vast profit. I think circumstances have changed a wee tad since then, not mightily granted, but somewhat.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2017 11:40 pmAfter the debt, won't be all that much. Surely it's been clear from the start that the ex-agent with no big backing and no link to the club was hoping for a quick turnaround and sell it on for as much as he can get?Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2017 4:50 pmHe's still valuing it such that he'll make a vast profit. I don't necessarily mind that, I'm just not confident "long term health of the club" is really going to be a factor.
It's been clear as day this was always where we were going, let's hope for the best.
The alternative of him trying to flog it if we hadn't gone up is terrifying.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
I'd suggest the 25M valuation is pie in the sky. Ken knows nobody is paying that. However if you're seeking investment you don't value the business low. Ken in my view is simply trying to entice some inevestment. I'm 100% sure the rate(if anyone does invest) won't be anything like that valuation. But will be more than the nonsense offer the ST made...

I have one pair of Reebok running shorts. They were reduced in JJB at £5. I honestly couldn't care a 4uck as to our shirt sponsor is.
