Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
I'll have a go Tango. Though, I am currently feeling like what I imagine that 85yo little old lady who has had her life savings stolen by a trusty looking pension consultant feels like.
1.) Holdsworth for some whacky reason wanted to be a hero and save the club from oblivion despite not having the money or business ability to do so. So he borrowed at stupid interest rates from probably the only lenders who would touch him. Hence we ended up saddled with this debt, and having deferred it once, were always going to have to pay it this year. KA told us all he had the money and would sort it. It reamins to be seen if there was ever any truth in that. But he has conned players, and caterers alike in the last few weeks. Why not us? Why not BM? And he is currently out of the country, offering very defeatist statements about accepting admin, 12 point penalties, and long term transfer embargos. He hasn't put a penny in, and took millions out. He has never put money into anything in his life. Just acted as an intermediary who has always taken something for himself. He has been banned from running companies for many years.
2.) The only ray of hope might be that under admin there will be no £25m asking price. Just an amount to pay off BM and any other creditors of which they will be quite a few. If that American Billionaire, or anyone else is really interested, we would be a bargain basement purchase that could multiply any investment 10x within a few years. Even with a 12 point penalty we are good enough to say up this year. I hate to say this, but without any buyer, I don't see how we survive many more months

Think yourself lucky you only found out now. Not slept all night. Awful!
Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Was only a matter of time. It's one thing playing hardball with a catering company over 50k to a finance company over 4million plus interest.
Finally somebody has called him out.
Feel so sorry for the team, fans and manager as the best start in years is going to disappear in 3 hours.

Look on the bright side it sounds like it will be a quick death, not one of these lingering shitty ones that goes on for years.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 6:59 amThink yourself lucky you only found out now. Not slept all night. Awful!
Has Lee Anderson tweeted some appropiate emoji yet?

Morning. Everyone tip top and fabulous this bright and sunny morning?
Iles is running a live blog on what happens today. Sounds perverted in one sense, but useful tbf.
https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/1 ... istration/
Headlines so far:
- £4.8m is the sum required to make BM feck off, according to MI
- "Ken Anderson claimed last night he offered the full amount but that is disputed. It is also claimed he offered the money - via a third party - in installments."

If Anderson ever ever ever shows his face at OUR club again he deserves all the abuse that will undoubtedly be thrown at him, crikey and I thought the Oystons at Blackpool were the lowest.
Allegedly he refused to sell his stake on Sunday which undoubtedly would have changed the situation.
I am off to play golf at noon with my Blackburn supporting pal , he may get a punch.

So, about the wisdom of brinksmanship...
Luckily, I didn't see this last night (although coincidentally I had an awful night's sleep anyway).
Whatever happens, I love my club. So do you. Don't forget that.

Well, who says these international breaks are without interest? 20mins to go. 0-2 down. Just the small matter of the very existence of the club is at stake. Being a BWFC fan eh. Jeez.

Well I for one am getting sweet f.a. done atm.
Looking/hoping for some silver lining but it's tricky tbh
Seems we may well be shut of the Anderson's but for what exactly (devil you know n'all that)?
The hyenas are looming (including the ST)

Quite likely forlornly trying to invoke the May miracle at the Reebok. This is totally surreal...

Iles quote on if someting happens post 10am to remedy the situation
"If the button is pushed at 10am, however, the EFL rules state an insolvency event has occured. "
