Suffolk hating or breathing sighs of relief..Versus Ipswich away 22-9-2018.
Down amongst the Tractors they're still running a vid clip of beating us "eighteen years" ago. Remember, when we played against twelve men and Diver Magilton was public enemy number One?
Anyway, that's where we're headed tomorrow and we really need to come away with three points. Fancy our chances or?

Ipswich haven't won a game yet this season....so we all know what happens in situations like this
3-1 Ipswich....
3-1 Ipswich....

I'm really not feeling optimistic about this one. 0-2 defeat

Well, if Parky wasn't prepared to at least attempt to take the game to QPR at home then I don't see a single indicator as to why he might at Portman Rd either.Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 5:37 pmIpswich haven't won a game yet this season....so we all know what happens in situations like this

We might get the draw that Parky's hoping for. Might. 1-1.

Parkinson doesn't know how to take the game to anyone....or start games on the front foot - we will sit back invite them on & give Ipswich their 1st winBruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 8:15 amWell, if Parky wasn't prepared to at least attempt to take the game to QPR at home then I don't see a single indicator as to why he might at Portman Rd either.Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 5:37 pmIpswich haven't won a game yet this season....so we all know what happens in situations like this

His tactics are as obvious as your rhetoric.

This is a massive game. Get all 3 here and it's onwards and upwards/
I reckon we're good for a point.
Giving us 12.
Then all taken away by the sweet FA!

PP says Andy Taylor has "had a bit of a setback and he’ll be a couple more weeks, but Groundsy [Jonathan Grounds] is up to speed, we’re happy with how he’s done."

In more ways than one. So much happening both up front and behind the scenes ( nobody can even predict our possible future right now with so much indecision) in our complex situation that a loss could flick a spark into the firework bin. The fans attitudes can possibly be better explained/understood surely, by a great start to the season then so much negative stuff on the go since. Injuries aren't helping anything and out financial scene can't be going unnoticed by the players and fans alike. We need a bit of oil on troubled waters right now. A win today could be that first spoonful. We didn't manage to do it for Eddie or Stephen Darby, so let's put both right lads today. A positive team sheet would/will be a start. COME ON YOU WHITES...

Obviously Parky can't come out and say "Taylor's setback is all the more disappointing as Grounds has been absolute 4ucking shite", but I think he'd honestly have been better off just not mentioning him.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 11:42 amPP says Andy Taylor has "had a bit of a setback and he’ll be a couple more weeks, but Groundsy [Jonathan Grounds] is up to speed, we’re happy with how he’s done."

I'm looking around at all the pigs that cause the thick shit. I'll bet a million quid that not one of them goes under the byname of BWFCi. He'll be tucked up all warm and secure in the paddock next to the cows...

So the side is out.
Buckley, Otzumer and Noone in.
Wheater on the bench along with O'Neil and Vela.
Suppose that's negative.

If you require to insult people then throw them in with the cows. Don't directly call them a C bomb.

Interesting team news: Wheater benched, Bevers dropped altogether for what may be the first time under Parky. Looks like 4231.
Alnwick; Olkowski, Hobbs, Wilson, Grounds; Lowe, Williams; Noone, Oz, Buckley; Magennis. Subs Matthews, Wheater, O’Neil, Vela, Wildschut, Donaldson, Doidge.

Aye. I think it's 4231; it could, I suppose, be 433 with Oz and Williams in front of Lowe.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 2:12 pm
And Hobbs and Wilson.
Alnwick, Olkowski, Hobbs, Wilson, Grounds, Lowe, Williams, Buckley, Oztumer, Noone, Magennis.

That's a bold and attacking line up

Re: Suffolk hating or breathing sighs of relief..Versus Ipswich away 22-9-2018.
Not just more attacking, but possibly indicative of a style change. Quotes from the Boro thread:
Interesting to see how this affects both the above problem (defensive line not high enough) and the one about our centre-backs habitually banging the ball forward aimlessly. If Hobbs and (particularly?) Wilson can pass the ball, through Lowe and Williams and Oz as well as the wingers, we might be very definitely changing our style here.
Wheavers dropped for Wilson and Hobbs. Wheater benched, Beevers out of the 18: unless he's picked up a knock, it's the first time Parky has dropped him for a league game (he's missed a couple through injury or suspension).nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 1:59 pmExactly this. For the first twenty minutes last Saturday we had the best of it; we didn't create much in the way of chances, but most of the play was in their half. Though we might have been more productive had Oztumer been picked, we certainly weren't under instructions to let them onto us.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Sep 22, 2018 12:58 pmPrimarily our issues at home stem from a back line, Wheater in particular who drags the midfield deeper. The midfield either leave Wheats and co exposed or sit deeper and leave the forward isolated. You see Parky desperately trying to get the team up but it doesn’t always mean it’s easy. Drop Wheater who is probably our best CB to give us extra pace at home (note that happened a number of times last season) maybe. But then you concede a silly goal and the game is changed again anyway.
Also, Olkowski urged Wheater to push up more than once in the second half, and he very anxiously took a few steps forward whilst looking over his shoulder at (I think) Nahki Wells before then instinctively rushing back towards him. It's just the sort of thing centre-backs do when they're worried about ending up in a foot race with someone quicker than them.
