I'm obviously a Parky outer and I've backed KA from day one.

But I now don't & won't trust a thing he ever says....like I said he's just a bull shitter
Yeah, I suspect you won't be alone in that, mate.

Although I do seem to remember you had a bit of an anti-Ken wobble, possibly around the time of the most recent serious administration scare. (Isn't that a telling specific, that we have to phrase it thusly?)

Yes you are correct DSB in regards to the anti-Ken admin wobble, but in the main I've backed him - but not anymore, its a complete back track on what he said last week....I now do not trust anything the guy says.

Like I’ve said all along, KA and PP are mates. Like Gartside and Allardyce in the early days. Holidays together with families etc.

The chance that he will sack PP isn’t that high especially given the fact he’d have to stump up his own cash to do so. Personally think sticking with him is the right decision. But if you’re hoping he will sack him I suspect you will have to hope for a run so abysmal that he feels he has no choice. The money isn’t there and neither is the will either.

Surely given Ken's track record, it's not beyond all possibility that he could manufacture a bit of gross misconduct on PPs behalf and thus sack him without compo?

I don't think he's quite that kind of chap, Ken.

I mean, if I were Parky (and especially his various adjutants) I wouldn't bank on all contracts being honoured within 24 hours of the axe falling, but I'm not sure Ken has yet fabricated a reason to shunt someone.

I'm not the most qualified of fans to comment these days, but going out on a limb a bit (especially if K.A does actually read forum comments) this "Notes from the Chairman" stuff and being front man on comments at all should surely be left to P.P to do and let K.A step back a bit and just be the C.E.O in the background? What exactly do K.A and his offspring ( not knowing for sure I'm taking it that the fella with the mid-life crisis hairstyle is him?) know about football technics or management of players? What qualifications do either have? His interest is surely only really in the financial aspects of Bolton as a club ( pretty obvious he'll sell that as soon as the right offer appears) and he'll be off himself to pastures new in search of fame and fortune . In that light, let P.P do his job without the royalty being so prominent. His role seems a bit like the old "If I can't be captain I'm taking the ball home"...or so it seems to me. I'll be happily wrong?

They are "ex football agents" so I assume they feel qualified. Note my use of the word feel.

I very much agree - he should keep quiet and make decisions as and when without the notes or updates.

Updates about some things are appreciated but his commentary on results/football matters IMHO are not.

Or blasting the fans for not attending games. Never usually a helpful one, that.

I think Ken (via Lee) feel the need to respond to some of the f*ckwits who drone on / make wild accusations etc on Twitter. This is usually done by “@ing” Lee in. You can’t usually respond properly in the character limit, and I suspect he likes to run things through PR/Lawyers so there you go. Ken’s notes are born.

Thing is I don’t get it. Just leave the Twitter muppets to their baseless statements and accusations. Thats just what has happened before. You end up tying yourself in knots like Ken has this week. I genuinely thought he would be popping Parky given what he wrote. Probably did ramp up the pressure and wasn’t helpful.

He’s also showing off questionable calculations by claiming that the ‘bring a mate for a tenner’ deal v Swansea may increase revenue by £400,000.

Am I the only one who thinks it's disgusting and outrageous that he's leading the latest "come empty your pockets at the stadium" drivel with a "We woke up this morning to the news that...."

It's like every opportunity that arises to speak he'll use to force the many options to rid us of our cash.

My mam said to me growing up "The more you ask the more I'll say no"

Here's an idea Ken. Shut up.

A little bit crass. If it was his weekly column or whatever it would be fine I think...his opportunity to personally express condolence. Fact is it’s his second one in 24 hours! So it’s like yeah I should say something...oh and I might as well do a sales pitch whilst I am here. Slightly questionable motives but I’m not getting worked up about it.

He's impervious. Thick and untouchable. Like a rhino... Hopefully just as endangered.

We ask that you stand by us all and together we will all work hard to turn the results around.
Folk go to watch football and be entertained, not this you dick! That is the supposed job of the people YOU appoint.

Ken's back with a no-update update.

"I am conscious that it has been a while since I last updated you all with regards to potential investment.

As you will have seen from the media reports regarding other clubs, it does take quite a long time to strike a deal. Just look at our neighbours, Wigan Athletic, for example, whose takeover has been going on for quite a long time and has still not been finalised, although I am led to believe that it will happen this month. Charlton Athletic and Newcastle United are two other clubs which have been on the market for a considerable period of time and haven’t yet been sold.

We are in discussions with several parties still and as always, as soon as there is any progress, I will of course let you know."

I tried money laundering but the notes melted when I ironed them.

May as well turn the lights off & close the stadium then, because not many will put up with this shit for much longer. Rotherham who are on a similar level to us (that was hard to type & shows just how far we have fallen) beat Swansea yesterday - does anyone think Rotherham have a better squad / better players than us ?

Therefore if we don't beat Swansea next week Parkinson has to go

If Anderson doesn't have the bottle to get rid of Parkinson, the fans will do it by voting with their feet as they are currently doing - not many supporters like Parkinson, there may be a few on here but generally around the town the majority want him out....and if it carries on much longer they will eventually turn on him as they did with Megson.

P.T. ..somebody on here made the point that but for K.A (and I include Phil Parky in that) we might not be here, and that nobody is offering viable alternatives to it all. I totally agree. We may be unhappy with where and what we are right now, but that's the reality. K.A. saw us as a business opportunity and no doubt will sell to the first serious bidder, but nobody is bidding are they? We moan and gibber about losing, but nobody sensible waves white flags or gets the pitchforks and bedsheets out. It's sheer frustration and, like a I said last week, two or three wins will make a different world. Meanwhile, we make the best of it and keep the faith. How much of "round the town" are you talking? I speak to a lot of folk, nobody is happy, but neither can they offer an answer.
