Snakes in (Liddington, Rudd) and out (Blair) of Parliament are getting ready to stick the fix in. [How bizarre, how bizarre].
The second referendum question will be between May's deal and Remain. That's what the snakes are pressing for...
But, and here we quote a Remainer MP... "The People decided on their destination... But not how to get there"
Thanks.
So how about 2nd Referendum: Q1 No Deal Brexit. Q2 May's Deal.
Sorted...

Vote between a shit sandwich and a full blown 3 courses of shit.

Good idea!

I have a better one though. Have a recorded ballot on the proviso that those who vote Brexit will reap all its benefits or otherwise first. If there is a rise in GDP they can all enjoy a "rebate" whilst us remainers look on glumly. If there is a fall in GDP they can pay for it. Similarly with medicine shortages or otherwise.

You keep on banging on about GDP.
GDP wasn't a driver in my choice. (You can be poor in a great economy, same as you can be rich in a shit one).

Medicine shortages? Why should there be medicine shortages .. the government has said to stockpile, plus so what if they sit in a lorry for a few hours because the French get stroppy at Calais.

China and USA are in a full blown trade war. Do you see ships queueing up at San Francisco... do you bollox. Is there a sudden shortage of stuff with aluminium or steel in them... is there bollox.

On the radio they said some medicines already face shortages in some of the country due to pre-Brexit stockpiling.

Why the hell should stockpiling cause shortages. You order more than you need... That's what stockpiling is. If you face shortages because you've got more than you need, that's called hoarding. Stockpile, hoard, a world of difference.

And no job is guaranteed for life. If your job depends directly on being a member of the EU, like a Euro MEP for example, there are numerous opportunities ahead: medicine importer for example, could make a fortune.

Well, they're being aresholes then, and as I explained are hoarding not stockpiling...
See this:

The gov. specifically told hospitals and pharmacists not to hoard. It specifically addressed big pharma to stockpile.

What you are moaning about as a so called consequence of Brexit is just another example of ridiculously shit management in the NHS. :P

Sorry mate I'm only concerned about the UK not other countries medicine levels, it's about time we started looking out for us first and worry about others later.
On that note I strongly object NATO or no NATO to the deployment of Typhoon fighters protecting lithuania unless they pay full membership fees and buy their own Jets, stick that in your pipe you big mouth president of a country with a population just slightly more than Gtr Manchester.

I would counter with "this is just another example of ridiculously shit understanding from a Brexiteer"....

If Asda, for example go "our most dispensed drug is X, lets make sure we definitely have supplies" and take the majority of drug X out of the supply chain and the small amount remaining is suddenly either very expensive or unavailable and "Big Pharma" as you put it decide to inflate the price of it in order to manage demand, what the fck are the NHS meant to do about it?

Are all these large pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies in on project fear too? If so expect a run on tin foil very soon.

Still the fact there are drug shortages worldwide is all down to Brexit in just the same way UK planes won;t be allowed to land in the EU because we are not members yet Russian US, Canadian, Turkish, Chinese and every other Tom, Dick and Harry who are Not EU are allowed to?

If there is a rise in GDP they can all enjoy a "rebate" whilst us remainers look on glumly. If there is a fall in GDP they can pay for it. Similarly with medicine shortages or otherwise.
You keep on banging on about GDP.
GDP wasn't a driver in my choice. (You can be poor in a great economy, same as you can be rich in a shit one).

Medicine shortages? Why should there be medicine shortages .. the government has said to stockpile, plus so what if they sit in a lorry for a few hours because the French get stroppy at Calais.
On the radio they said some medicines already face shortages in some of the country due to pre-Brexit stockpiling.

You might not care about the economy, jobs and the like, but most people do......
Why the hell should stockpiling cause shortages. You order more than you need... That's what stockpiling is. If you face shortages because you've got more than you need, that's called hoarding. Stockpile, hoard, a world of difference.
The fact you don't seemingly understand this, might speak volumes.

Medicines distribution and production are not equal. As some stockpile, others run out.
What others? Is Swaziland stockpiling too, and Singapore running out? What are you going on about???
As pharmacies stockpile, the prices go up. And others cannot afford to - or there simply isn't any left.
Well, they're being aresholes then, and as I explained are hoarding not stockpiling...
See this:
https://www.pharmaceutical-journal.com/ ... Pass=false

The gov. specifically told hospitals and pharmacists not to hoard. It specifically addressed big pharma to stockpile.

What you are moaning about as a so called consequence of Brexit is just another example of ridiculously shit management in the NHS. :P

Well it's quite fxcking obvious that you don't understand the pricing regime in the NHS for prescription medicines.
It's not a free market, prices are controlled by NICE. I think it may be your head covered in tin foil.

Or are ASDA supplying prescription medicine to the NHS now? Time for Madine to be Health Secretary...

I'm talking about this country! A report today suggested people in the UK are already experiencing medicine shortages as a result of Brexit.
Where?

I don’t know the ins and outs of why, and there’s a load of theories for it, but there are a number of drug shortages at the moment, including to some of the most commonly used meds. It’s a pain in the arse for me as it generates more work. It’s probably more so for patients who might have to go without.

And the main quote from that piece,
What we are seeing anecdotally is that although the Secretary of State has been very clear and issued a letter to industry that six weeks’ supply should be stockpiled by the manufacturers, what we are seeing is that other stockpiling is happening in other parts of the supply chain, and that may well be exacerbating some of the supply issues.”
So to coin a phrase, there you go jumping on the bandwagon of scare tactics on the back of no definite evidence, project fear.
I have pointed out there are drug shortages worldwide and nothing to do with Brexit.

Someone is heading for a big bang, the Germans may do well to reconsider the loss of our Billions to the EU project,
Deutsche Bank is broken. It might be able to extract itself from the 7,800 lawsuits it is currently involved in, or it may shrink to the point that it will no longer pose a systemic risk, or it may manage to find investors to help it scrape together sufficient capital to fulfill legal requirements. In the most extreme case, it may even be bailed out by the German state. But it is broken nonetheless when compared to that which it once was: a brand, a symbol, a German icon.

Oh please. I listened to a story on the radio where the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee have said Brexit is having an impact on medicines. People then were contacting 5 live to say they already cannot get their medicine from any local pharmacy and are being told it is down to Brexit and supply chain issues introduced by stockpiling. Clearly the PSNC, pharmacy chains and individual pharmacists are all just in on project fear.

Its a massive global conspiracy with millions of people prepared to perpetuate a lie....just like climate change....or perhaps, just perhaps the trained bodies and professionals might know a bit more than Bob down the pub....perhaps.....
