Re: General Chit Chat
I see in the, ever increasingly bizarre, news today is the UK's first ever Cheese Shop that doesn't actually sell cheese, but supplies instead vaguely cheese-like lumps of smelly stuff with a non meat dairy-free origin.
I can supply them with a few pounds worth of sausages too. In order to be vegan sausages though, they'd need to allow me a few days of eating their 'cheese' in order to process my 'sausages'.
Mmmm, tasty...

I'll definitely be looking out to buy this and add to my growing collection of highly contentious publications.

I love a decent Yahweh/God/Allah squad publication. Almost as funny as a back issue of Viz.

Re: General Chit Chat
Thespians? Are they the branch of dinosaurs who share a common ancestor with birds?
Oops, no, that'll be Theropods.

For what it is worth, I consider Thespians in the same category as Theropods and Jihadis... worthy of extinction. Although I actually feel sorry for Theropods.

Re: General Chit Chat
They have to exist, those thespians; how else could Mel Gibson be a Scottish legend, wipe out the Brits in America, Russell Crowe sort out all Rome's finest gladiators and be Robin hood to boot and Tom Crusie grow a foot in height as Jack Reacher. I blame Will Shakespeare...Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 3:58 pmThespians? Are they the branch of dinosaurs who share a common ancestor with birds?

Saw this on the news...why? Seriously why?

What a stupid, stupid idea. Free to air channels launching a paid for subscription...I'm sure that is going to work out well.....
Why does everyone have to try and be netflix these days? Soon we'll not be able to watch an entire film without at least 3 subscriptions as someone will own the start, someone the middle and someone the end.....

Considering I’m paying £150.50 for a TV license, they will not be getting another penny more from me.
I don’t know if it is an age thing but the BBC have really gone downhill in the last decade. Programmes like Luther are just complete over the top rubbish. Their website is poor and full of tripe. I won’t trust anything on the BBC News and it is behind other networks for speed of breaking stories. Apart from some of the wireless channels, I won’t give a damn if they were closed.

Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Ideally we need some of them to fail, but most people will go back to pirating content I expect.

Old fart territory is a wide category. I'm comfortably within it despite being considerably more youthful than youLost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Thu Feb 28, 2019 4:53 pmExcuse me...
