Reading winning at Ipswich. Not the week we hoped it'd be...

The Luke Murphy substitution can be looked back on one of the worst this season.
fecking dreadful.
1. Gives the ball away in midfield. Dave Wheater red card.
2. Gives the ball away in midfield. 2-0 Swansea.
I think he's touched the ball 6 times.

That’s 2 of the bottom 3 sorted today, for anyone who had any hope.

Meh - what the feck* he supposed to do? The set of players he had left after January wouldn’t finish outside the bottom 3 if Jesus Christ were managing them. It’s a squad that will struggle to be top half league one. There are no goals in it whatsoever.

Lady Luck is on vacation. Thank goodness that's been explained. Nine versus eleven on their own turf is hardly level field stuff. Hard luck the lads for having eveything against us. Can't see much else we could have done. Think I'll whistle up on that and go walk the dog. A last sally from us and........

There'll be ten white me en standing in a wall.
And if...
There'll be nine white men clearly not capable of getting any result tat tall...

Wonder how today affects the takeover. If some of the price was based on the chances of us staying up, that price must be affected by today's results? Combined that with due diligence still ongoing and Ken bluffing with his 72o and admin seems a lot more likely..

After that disaster it's a good job we have an easier run in than our competitors.

I’m back to feeling sorry for Parky since he started playing two up front again. Ken’s shafted everyone at the club with salaries but Parky more than most.
Letting Le Fondre go
Not replacing Maxine
Finally singing a goalscorer (albeit one who perhaps wouldn’t have made the step up) then actually not signing him and then not replacing him.
fecking prick. Hope he chokes on his tank top

Heh, weirdly I'm going off him a bit since he started playing two up top... certainly in games like Norwich and today. I get that we need goals but we can't play a back three against good sides and we can't play a wide-open 4-4-2 against anyone but really shit sides.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:39 pmI’m back to feeling sorry for Parky since he started playing two up front again. Almost felt like he was playing an "attacking" side to prove a point, perhaps to potential new bosses. But the staff aren't there to play a 4-4-2 with anyone shy of Holden and Muamba. And don't those days seem far off now?

Trouble is that even when he selects an 'attacking' line up, we still barely touch the ball or create owt.
Our whole season has been about hoping to keep it at 0-0 and then by some miracle we bumble something in at the other end.
What an atrocious season

We went through a spell a month ago where we didn't register a shot on target. Well Bournemouth topped that today in a 1-0 loss at home to Man City.
Bournemouth - 18% possession
Total shots - 0
On Target - 0
Off Target - 0
Blocked Shots - 0
Key Passes - 0
Corners - 0

I think it’s more that he’s twigged we need to score a goal and neither Donaldo or JM can play on their own up top. Plus Ameobi usually in the hole behind has been SHIT for a long time. But yeah - why do it v Norwich (cos we won the game before) or at Leeds (well we looked at our best when trying to pick up the pieces in their half, not ours).Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:41 pmHeh, weirdly I'm going off him a bit since he started playing two up top... certainly in games like Norwich and today. Maybe I just have more respect for him as we are not lying down and having our bellies tickled.
I wouldn’t have gone 442 today but I suspect there is a story - Williams absence odd - I wonder if it’s a payment issue with Everton?
But whatever, it’s quite comfortable the worst squad in the championship. Ken ‘I will take any measure possible to keep us in the championship’ has shafted Parky, and I’m sympathetic to him not
Pumping his own money in - he fecked us over by not selling us 12 months ago. His son wanked himself silly over retweets and people licking his arse on Twitter with his emojis and both have fcked off into hiding since the going got tough. Watching that slimeball Willie mackay self publicise / defend himself on the front foot over a transfer he had no right to be involved with this week on tv made me think of Lee - they’ve made a decent penny out of us and now the goings got tough the perma tanned have fcked off.
Anyway this time next year...new owners...new squad...playing football, scoring goals and competing hopefully.

Defeat was always on the cards here. Just a shame Reading and Rotherham took all 3 pts.
All hopes are pinned on smashing Millwall 1-0 next week. Otherwise, it probably is curtains

Aye, some shocking mistakes in there.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:39 pmI’m back to feeling sorry for Parky since he started playing two up front again. Ken’s shafted everyone at the club with salaries but Parky more than most.

At the same time, you could also argue that another mistake was not getting shut of Parky himself in October
Re: Under the Milkwood Tree....Versus Swansea away 2-2-2019, 3-0'clock.
100% this. Was about to post something similar.
Not for one minute thinking we were actually going to win but any glimmer we had was ruined by that useless feck.
Also, Connelly defending for the first was awful, should have cleared it.

Perhaps, but as I have said above there is no manager on earth that could conjure goals up out of this team.Jugs wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 6:12 pmAye, some shocking mistakes in there.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:39 pmI’m back to feeling sorry for Parky since he started playing two up front again. True, the team has no goals.
