Only my understanding is that Liquidation isn't necessarily a cessation of membership.

If the court orders any and all creditors ('football', 'secured', whatever) to be paid in full, then that's a much bigger bill immediately for whoever's left holding the baby... if the baby survives.

Court: the mechanics of admin or liquidation might take a week... which might be enough. Or Bas/Ken might be close enough to prove to court that honest guv we can make it. Maybe even a case where both agree to EFL arbitration and a third party bangs their bloody heads together (and possibly stops Ken spivving others out of the door).

But I still think that the two parties will agree. You note they talked today, despite previous breakdowns; perhaps the deadline is focusing minds. Along with the aforementioned fiscal penalties for the 'winner' under court-imposed fiscal regulations.

You have a lot more faith in this Basran dude than me. He's pulled out about 3 times now. I get its business but unless someone has some evidence to prove otherwise there is enough doubt in my mind that he's got the funds to get this over the line.
