Helped that he was being marked by the willing but relatively unable Jules Darby, being played out of position in defence. I don’t think Rioch picked him there again...piesrus wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 4:34 pmI remember us doing them 4-3 one Sunday dinner at Burnden. Blank it out with a chorus of Epping Forest.

A couple of seasons back, Enoch was going to give me a lift to MK Dons. I mentioned it to my wife who said, with a shake of her head, "So, you're getting into a car with an older man you met off the internet?" She's never let me forget it.

I remember that well. Game of mistakes more than a thriller. Rare goal for Patterson I think. At one point Forest punted one long into a corner and it was Collymore against an ageing Phil Brown, who lost the race despite having quarter a pitch start.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 4:40 pmHelped that he was being marked by the willing but relatively unable Jules Darby, being played out of position in defence. Stan's second most memorable appearance at ours after his scrap with Andy todd.

That was no scrap; he got beaten up. First true sign of the psycopath to come.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 8:53 amI remember that well. Game of mistakes more than a thriller. I got a lot of shit from my old housemate (you met him in the pub hat time in horwich Enoch) about my 'internet men'.
And am referred to by Burnden Paddock's daughter as his 'football boyfriend'.
I'm comfortable with who I am.

Ha, fair enough! Neither of them exactly stable in the old anger management department either.piesrus wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 10:25 amThat was no scrap; he got beaten up. I like to think of myself as a 'new man'.
We're just one big happy family.

Today's line up should be interesting. Might not have heard of some of them

I never realised I was tippy tapping with a bunch of pervs. It's come as a shock I'll tell ya.

Also from Iles: "the security guard here at Forest has just told me he has been instructed NOT to allow Laurence Bassini into the directors' lounge."

It should be 12:38 in Italy.
Are we losing by five goals yet, Pru?

I’m struggling with the subs. Grounds was a double take as well! Think it might be wing backs with Buckley up top.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 11:16 amToday's line up should be interesting. Might not have heard of some of them
Edit, Narr it’s just Andy Taylor at centre half in a 4231. No worries there

Can we assume the ones who aren’t playing aren’t planning on sticking around?

Yes and no. There's some injuries in the backline - Wheavers, notably. Big Dave posted a farewell Instavideo but if we do survive the summer and are in a position to offer him a wage under new ownership you know he'd be tempted.
