The difference being - others like Marc Iles are saying the same....Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 1:27 pm...and you talk about conspiracies!.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 8:26 pmThe deal was there on Friday. And I really don’t think this has helped at all. In any way. In fact this could be disastrous all round.
Of course the twitter land will be full of people rejoicing at the though of billionaires buying us. This is a perilous position now in my view....
Perhaps the way forward is for the Kamani's to give FV a few £M to enable them to complete in the next day or so, and then FV flip the deal or is it flipping the deal ? or something along those lines.![]()

Hi guys, we aren’t interested in buying the football club, however we did ask the administrators about the hotel situation which we haven’t heard back from yet♂️- wish you all the success in the future and hope you get this situation sorted! Good luck guys
#bwfc
So, if they've merely 'asked the administrators' about the hotel (not the football club) backed up by a £4million wedge in cold cash, d'ya think Quantuma are going to prefer the ropey bid which includes £3million pounds of cash owed back to the creditors who are the bidders who are the partial creditees???
That definitive huh?

Re: Administration and recovery
PbP are owed 5.5M. And are lead secured creditors. FV are converting that 5.5M into equity in the re-combined business. So the cash needed for them to match the 7M offer (if it exists) is £1.5M to pay off Ken + unsecureds. (Which is well under the amount Ken claims is owed).Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 1:42 pmYeah, real definitive!BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 9:41 amThat is pretty definitive.Adam Kamani

Its very tricky for anyone to get the hotel other than FV unless they offer silly money OR Mike James and Tom Morris decide the cash offer is preferable to them. James will not harm the club - so that cash would be contingent on the club also being safe and appropriately run. Or if FV have no cash to offer - which is possible.

With the usual lack of progress by FV, I have a feeling that the Coventry game on Saturday may be called off unless something happens in the next 2 hours or so.

What I find odd is - they've not even allowed Coventry to start selling away tickets...Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 2:59 pmWith the usual lack of progress by FV, I have a feeling that the Coventry game on Saturday may be called off unless something happens in the next 2 hours or so.
One can perhaps understand the issue with home tickets but surely the away allocation could be sold through Coventry.....I find that odd. Perhaps I'm just thinking too hard.

Re: Administration and recovery
Possibly, just possibly, they're trying to tough-love it to completion by being a bit awkward rather than saying "Yeah, do what you want, we'll bend over for you".
But then they bend over for us anyway, like accepting three new player registrations on a matchday, which is one reason I didn't join in with the lusty renditions for "F**k the EFL" which rang around the away end. I understand the chants, and I think the EFL governance frequently stinks, but I think we only need look up the A58 for evidence of how much less helpful the EFL can be. Unless of course they're trying to tough-love Bury into... ah, but we can second-guess forever, and that's exactly what we do to while away the ages.

That only works if EFL release a statement followed by a response from club administrator.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 3:11 pmPossibly, just possibly, they're trying to tough-love it to completion by being a bit awkward rather than saying "Yeah, do what you want, we'll bend over for you".

I worry its going to take that but then it becomes a huge game of chicken....

So Michael James who's apparently a loyal life long Bolton fan would play chicken with his beloved football club ? that's strange.

There are interweb rumblings being circulated by unverified types that ticket news is imminent. Still, finality to the cake and arse party that's been our takeover has been imminent for weeks.Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 2:59 pmWith the usual lack of progress by FV, I have a feeling that the Coventry game on Saturday may be called off unless something happens in the next 2 hours or so.
My guess is that when they do make an announcement regarding tickets, everyone's going to have to have access to a printer.

No. If you're trying to stop a secured creditor from blocking the deal - you might have to risk an alternative outcome that they won't like......Bertie Wooster wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 3:19 pmSo Michael James who's apparently a loyal life long Bolton fan would play chicken with his beloved football club ? that's strange.

Coventry are in as much deep shit as we are. One can perhaps understand the issue with home tickets but surely the away allocation could be sold through Coventry.....I find that odd. Perhaps I'm just thinking too hard.

I really don't think that they are, they have just signed a striker for £750k - we don't even have a striker !Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 3:33 pmCoventry are in as much deep shit as we are. They've just signed a midfielder for actual money (well actual "undisclosed" money) - so maybe they're a few yards in front of us!Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 3:33 pmCoventry are in as much deep shit as we are. Mind you, we bought a striker for actual money last year - we just never allegedly paid it....so maybe not!

They are way ahead of us as it stands today - we are playing a 44 game season on -12 points with no players, as we aren't beating Coventry on Saturday (if the game goes ahead) with the same team as last Saturday.
