That's me f*cked then!
Is that ironic?
Sorry, read that as moronic.

Re: Administration and recovery
Bury told that they're being turfed out of the league on the 23rd if they haven't got their shit together.
Bury say they've presented all that they've been asked for.
EFL saying it lacks clarity.

EFL requires absolute proof of funding required for the CVA and the season ahead. I doubt Dale can provide that too easily. I really hope they get it sorted.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 1:35 pmBury told that they're being turfed out of the league on the 23rd if they haven't got their shit together.

As much as I agree with the sentiment their stench of dale reeks of our stench of Ken...and we all know how badly that is lingering. This death over 3 seasons is horrendous...shame Eddie (the good hearted owner) didn’t take the admin hit to get it sorted 5 years ago.

I think surely the myth that admin is a magic bullet has been dispelled now? Eddie wrote of the debts in the main anyway so admin wouldn't have reduced debts significantly...so not sure how it would have helped.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:16 pmAs much as I agree with the sentiment their stench of dale reeks of our stench of Ken...and we all know how badly that is lingering. The club was there for £1 and taking on £5M of debt. And nobody wanted it.....other than Ken and Dean.

Still no announcement on Coventry tickets? Anyone else starting to feel like this match might be in jeopardy?

Re: Administration and recovery
Worth remembering the game last week only went ahead because at this exact stage FV and admins believed they had a deal that would be completed by either the evening or early the following morning.
It wasn't completed but the decision point had been passed. Then we had the kerfuffle with players wages that FV had to cover - at a point where once again they knew the T/O was being "delayed"- but they got them on the coach.
We're now on Thursday afternoon and unless FV feel the T/O is happening for sure.........

Without crashing the club server tomorrow, I think they'll have to offer pay-on-the-gate on Saturday too.

Re: Administration and recovery
Think it will depend on police view - I imagine a relatively large following from Coventry and usually they would try to avoid selling on the day in those circumstances. I don't know. It comes down to notice police need to have appropriate cover for the match - usually based on sales. If you're selling on the day with potentially a large away following - the police might need considerable notice and it might also attract a hefty bill. We're good with those....Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 3:30 pmNot sure. Re: Administration and recovery
Won’t we also need large cash reserves for a pay on the gate?Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 3:30 pmNot sure.
