Injunction now between Ken and Loz, doesn't affect sale of club.

It's a fxcking black hole, mate, shedding x-rays from its rotating disc of flattened primordial ejecta.

But rather than celebrating, I eagerly await the wanker's next excuse or delay.

Oh apparently judge has said nothing in injunction should prevent the deal being done...

That being the deal that was all ready to sign last Thursday...if only this hadn't happened - should see an announcement before 17:00 today I would have thought.

Re: Administration and recovery
Wording was changed to clarify. I note sadly that Iles' take is that sale can go ahead but there is legal risk in doing so to FV. However, if they don't complete now I'd suggest they pack up and go home and let us die.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:44 pmOh apparently judge has said nothing in injunction should prevent the deal being done...

I believe that you know otherwise young sir.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:41 pmDust off the paperwork from just before the injunction that Appleton thought stopped the sale but didn't, find a pen and get it signed.
It was all ready to go through THAT DAY. Honest Paul said so. Plenty of time to get it done by 5pm and go for after work drinks.
We'll see.

This was the best possible outcome today. And Bassini's case has been described as "incredibly thin" by the Judge. Both sides agreed there was no evidence. I honestly think this is the test for FV - if they delay over this then they were never ever serious.

No celebrating until it's announced at 17:00 hours.

Re: Administration and recovery
This - Appleton / FV need to announce the completion of the takeover this evening, if it was ready on Thursday afternoon then it must be ready to be announced today, FV need to use the feel good factor of the court hearing quickly to get the fans behind them.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:44 pmThat being the deal that was all ready to sign last Thursday...if only this hadn't happened - should see an announcement before 17:00 today I would have thought.
If they don't announce tonight then the latest delay was nothing to do with Bassini & more to do with the hotel - which means that this imminent announcement of the deal completion last Thursday was a complete pack of lies by the administrator.

I think I'll give them till end of week. Logistics of doing it is not as straightforward as people think - but yeah if not by then, then feck right off.

... I will however take this juncture to remind everybody that I have a billion internet £s riding on us being sold/bought on September 10th, a mere eight days after Ms DJBlu goes back to school.

How big is a brink?

Re: Administration and recovery
FV will need time to digest decision and take legal advice - Bassini has been told he can apply for injunction on BL from 2nd September again. So if FV take over and an injunction was granted - they'd be hugely limited in what they can do. Injunction prevents any activity that affects value of shares.
So whilst it is great news - I might give them more time here - because lets say their plan was to sell hotel - they might find themselves blocked after taking over...
Anyway it really is up to them now.

About 20 fluid ounces. An after-work brink in my neighbourhood equates to approximately 100 fluid ounces, if you don't extract the piss from the equation...Lennon'sEleven wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:52 pmHe never said "that day".Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:46 pmI believe that you know otherwise young sir.LeverEnd wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:41 pmDust off the paperwork from just before the injunction that Appleton thought stopped the sale but didn't, find a pen and get it signed.
