Delighted for him that he's got fixed up, and with a highly creditable position too.
May the bridges I burn light your way

Liverpool's influential sporting director Michael Edwards was ProZone analyst at Pompey from 2003-8, coinciding with Gaz's spell there. Not saying it's jobs for the boys, just that football can be a small world. Good luck to him, he deserves it - notable that when he teased the announcement the night before, fans of half a dozen clubs said he's be welcome back there any time.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 6:40 pmDelighted for him that he's got fixed up, and with a highly creditable position too.
Also: Dean Holden is now Bristol City manager. Good luck to him, too.

Good luck to him. Felt he fancied another year at our place last season which put him in a pretty select group - so felt for him that he pretty much had his career ended for him by our dicking around.
Selfishly I hope he helps out his old mates at Bolton with some loanees as well. Good luckGary.

Heh - but I wonder how many of those mates are still here? New chairman, new board, new DoF, new manager and backroom team, no Jimmy Phillips... and the only remaining players that were here when he left were Politic, Brocky and the kids...officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 7:48 pmSelfishly I hope he helps out his old mates at Bolton with some loanees as well.
We've come a long way in a short while. Most of it downwards!!
