I might well be being dim here, but what's this a reference to?

BWFC were sued for compensation, back in like 1910 or summat, by an ST holder who couldn’t make one or more of the games. He lost, BW won, precedent set, clubs have been secure since that the ST money they get will not leak away.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 10:07 pmI might well be being dim here, but what's this a reference to?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 6:17 pmBack to football. Athertonian - sorry mate I can’t help, I’ve just been watching on laptop as so far I’ve been either abroad or working. But this Saturday I’m not, so I’m interested too...

If you want to watch it on a tv you need a hdmi connection for your laptop. Or you could screen mirror off an I pad or similar I suspect but I’ve not done this.Athertonian wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:42 pmWhilst we're on the topic of i follow, what is required to watch the game. I have a firestick where I can access i follow but the Colchester game wouldn't work as many found out. The Forest Green game was ok but that buffered quite a lot. As a Season ticket holder I have the pass for the Newport game but I do believe i need a laptop and a HDMI cable? is this so, or can I access via some other way. What exactly will I require.
I would recommend logging on early. I missed the first 10 minutes of Saturday due to trying to start the stream at five to three.

I would recommend logging on early and turning the sound off, otherwise you get the world's most incredulous man shouting in a Boltonian accent so strong it makes Peter Kay sound like Jacob Rees-Mogg.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 10:07 amI would recommend logging on early. I found out on Saturday that it's possible to switch between home and away match commentaries. It's hardly ideal, but BBC Radio Essex were certainly more competent than Bolton FM are.

After the Colchester log-in debacle I've just entered my code for Saturday good and early. Nae bother.
Now to ponder the possibilities regarding which matchday snacks to have.

In truth, I purposely haven't touched a drop since we got sent home in March. Nothing quite like being a Wanderer to test the old resolve though is there?!BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 10:03 amMight need something stronger....Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 3:47 pmThat's that settled then.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 3:32 pmBeer.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 1:53 pmAfter the Colchester log-in debacle I've just entered my code for Saturday good and early.
