Re: We three kings of Orient (A)re. Saturday 31 @ 15:00
There's usually some crumb of comfort I can cling to, even amongst our worst performances but this is a new low. 1 to 11, not worked hard enough, poor decisions, poor distribution. We look far more likely to concede another 2 or 3 than get one ourselves.
Evatt still gets until xmas for me but if no massive improvement by then...

Aye. Possibly the same programme that Phoenix and Evatt used to sign our squad!

Evatt took off the only player I think really was trying at half time in Tutte. I’ve had it now. He clearly thinks he’s special but doesn’t understand the very basics of getting an 11 out on the field with some hope of competing.

Had my first drink in seven months last night. Number two's fairly imminent
May the bridges I burn light your way

I maintain that Darcy is a really good young player. I hope if anything good can come out of this it's him getting more minutes.

Yeah. I'm not after him, I think he's a good lad and a promising player, but that was callow defending.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:20 pmNo defending young Harry from me this time. I can forgive him for being 'caught in two minds ' in front of goal, but not for defending like that.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:17 pmSorry to say it came from Brocky being outmuscled by their lad, who laid back for an unmarked midfielder (White having tracked too deep) to put another in top bins

I mean we look like 11 people running about, they look like a perfectly serviceable football team. I’m back to thinking we need some coaching assistance ASAP.
Re: We three kings of Orient (A)re. Saturday 31 @ 15:00
I wholeheartedly agree.
Many of these players are shit but it's league 2. A sensible manager with some organisational ability rather than airy fairy self help clichés and laughable video game bollocks about algorithms would get much more out of them than this.
The man is an absolutely clueless bullshitter.

Another nightmare bit of defending from Brockbank. They are all very, very nervy now. Their heads have gone.

Just glad this wasn't the main sporting event I had in mind today. Appalling. One step forwards and a giant leap for mankind backwards.

The only thing stopping me switching off, is knowing that Boris is on tv downstairs with more wonderful news!

I thought we might get beat - I didn’t think we would suddenly turn into a great team on the back of a couple of good performances and Tuesday second half we looked leggy.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 4:29 pmJust glad this wasn't the main sporting event I had in mind today. I didn’t think I’d be sat here wondering if we would be looking for a new manager again.
He’s dropped a bollock not freshening the team but I’m flabbergasted at how little fight we’ve shown and how badly organised we are.

They've brought on a player called Louis Hugh Dennis. They could bring on Hugh Dennis and he'd have a good chance

Crawford’s a shithouse but nobody wants the ball at all. Really worrying.

Do you remember when Evatt said he was going to select real men, the sort you'd want in the trenches alongside you?
I'd be turning my service revolver on some of these.
