Well if we can turn this around I’ll believe. Looks like we had the tough midweek game and they had the break!

Be very surprised if we win this now, they’ve been decent and we have been shite.

Thomason for Lee and Arthur for Isgrove...Delf just perked up enough to get 15 minutes for me. Then it’s Elbo/Maddison. Dapo has been prettt fecking hopeless as well after starting really well.

I thought Isgrove was one of the few bright spots, looking forward and trying to force the play. Delf, Lee and Jones all been far worse imo

A real lack of urgency through the side. Way too pedestrian and as said above. Feels like a performance from pre xmas.

Really pedestrian attacking intensity. We're happy to have the ball and pass it around but without some urgency at times Doyle is completely out of the game. He's had to come to the half way line to have one of his only touches in the match. This needs to be quicker.

I thought Lee's pressing could've been better on the goal but I don't think anyone is expecting it to be hit as cleanly as it has. Hit and hope and its gone in.

As per Isgrove, his final passing is such a let down. He works hard and gets about the pitch quite well so there's some promise there, just needs that little bit of quality, he's good at the simple passes at least. Almost a counter point to Maddison, who seems to have the ability but not the work rate, looks like doing the hard things well but the simple things difficult.

Isgrove is absolutely terrible. I’ve no idea how he can not take him off at half time. Get Gnahoua on. Get Maddison on. Needs a shake up.
I rarely agree with you but I am inclined to agree. Wallsall must love having him on the pitch.
We have 4 players in that front line. Isgrove has been far from worst of the four. The other three have been pretty useless today.

Credit to Walsall - they’re pressing us all over the pitch and we haven’t had an answer. Time for Evatt to earn his corn.

Isgroves end product is shite though. That’s why I’d have him off now.

I'd put Maddison on just in case we get another free-kick in a decent position!

There is that. I don’t think I’ve seen a side so poor at set pieces in all my years of watching us. We’ve even given up on sticking corners into the box.

We've seen zero product from Doyle. Delf has probably lost 75% of what he's touched. Dapo been slightly better.

We had a few good second halves a while back, just maybe.....

Get the marque signing on to earn his reputation, horses for courses. What we have is obviously not working.

Missing Sarc. They're pressing and Delf doesn't have the ability to play in tight areas. Dapo central, Delf off for Arthur.

Isgrove has had the best game of the front 4 relative to his ability. He's just shit. Off for Maddison/Elbo.

I don’t think Doyle is very good either. Scores goals fine. But outfield he’s non league.

So the scores/results so far for the top 11, from top down, are: WWLDLLWDLLL. Good day for Morecambe as it stands.

If he were as good outside the box do you think he’d be playing for us?

Isgrove is fecking shite, what Evatt see's in him is behond me & Doyle's been invisible has he even touched the ball, shocking lack of effort from all of them including Kieran Lee who's been awful, what the fcuk did Evatt say to them before the game they are playing like its a pre season friendly.

This is just so typical Bolton, get your hopes up and then turn to shite - how the hell is this team 6th ?

I mean. We've been outstanding for 2 full months ffs. They're allowed a bad 45.

No and it’s a fair point. But when sides press like Walsall having no presence up front is an issue.

Sick of hearing about Isgrove's work ethic. May as well stick Our Kid's Australian Kelpie on. And he won't give you the ball back!
