His major gameplan appears to be to win free-kicks by getting kicked. Curious.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 3:43 pmMaddison decides to roll around for the third time today.

Hospital pass that from Jones. Wake up.

Declan John is awful under pressure.
There I said it.

At this rate it looks like the top two are going up with the rest of fighting it out for the third spot. Seems like its whoever can hold their nerve and perform as opposed to who actually wants it.

Only saving grace is we're only one down.
Sadly we have a second half start to come.

Pass the fecking ball earlier

feck off Jones. Keeps on giving it away when we're in decent positions.

Have we ever come out for a 2nd half all guns blazing and playing far better than we did in the 1st?
I'm struggling to think of a time when we have. Would be a good time to start

Some really frustrating turn overs in possession. So cavalier at giving the ball away without getting something attacking at the end of it.
As much as i'm expecting some quality from Maddison, the majority of what i'm seeing is Chris Eagle esque.... giving the ball away cheaply.

Isgrove - take him off because he can’t have touched it more than twice...no gave it away both times.

We either went on a run in January or turned a corner. Looks like the former to be honest. Lucky it’s 1-0.

The worry is we can be worse.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 3:50 pmHave we ever come out for a 2nd half all guns blazing and playing far better than we did in the 1st?

Mentality being the issue as they think they can cash in on the unbeaten run. Job done sort of.
Thankfully Harrogate have turned up and shown them that they aren't good enough.
Back to the drawing board as this isn't working.

Isgrove is someone I'd keep on. Same with Dapo. The latter carries a decent threat. I'd still bring Delf on for Maddison and see if we can get a ball behind for Doyle. Not usually our way though...

Harrogate better all over the pitch. More desire. More intensity. Working harder. Defending better. Sharper. Fitter. Hungrier. 45 minutes to turn this round and save our top 3 hopes. This is a must win. That should be drilled into them at half time.

Evatt: "Take it out on Harrogate".
That won't have been pinned to every peg in the visitors changing room then?!

Wasn't it Allardyce who used Mark Lawrenson's comments to push us on when we went up to the Premier League?
