Played for them in the Cup, unused sub in both league games

He came off the bench for them on Saturday. I think that particular ship has sailed, unfortunately.

Reading twitter and its crazy how some believe Politic is 'our best player'. He's not played in over a year and whilst he was a promising youngster in a poor league one side I'd not even have him as necessarily the best of that young crop. But still where on earth would anyone have decided he's 'our best player' from?

It’s why there should be an intelligence test before mobile phones are issued.

If there was to be a test, we might as well close this forum down now. :D

Now it’s Ronan Darcy - loaned until December… to a Norwegian second-tier club.

I rarely agree but this is spot on.

A shining light in a very poor side. If he rips league 2 up like most have said then I'm sure the offers will come flooding in but the risk can't be at Bolton when he's just come back from a massive injury.

I do like that Evatt is putting feelings to one side as that's how you get on with business.

No player is bigger than the team.

I think it's most likely a reflection that most on Twitter are teenagers, or not much older.

Perfect conditions for overexcitement. Young homegrown player, attacking too, successful loan, then looks decent in a dogsh!t team, then gets injured, allowing his legend to grow.

Could well become a very good player; I hope so.

As for knobheads on Twitter, they can be knobheads at any age. Depends on the topic.

So Darcy and Politic have apparently been offered new deals, according to Iles in the BN this morning. I thought perhaps these loans were the end of the road for that pair, so I'm encouraged by this news and hope the both of them do sign on.

Darcy has signed a new deal, excellent. Presume politic announcement will follow but he’s a bit nearer for negotiations so makes sense they sorted Darcy out first. Clubs being managed well, people.

I suspect out of the two Darcy is the most important one to tie down....inspite of the usual twitter nonsense. Reckon if he gets some game time there is a real talent in Ronan.

James McClean revealed Wigan Athletic was the ONLY League One outfit he would have joined - saying there was no chance he would entertain interest from Bolton Wanderers.

Just in case anyone was doubting the veracity of Prufrock's earlier statement.

Still paying Premier wages funded by their Russian petrochemical near-billionaire owner… yet still get the “cuddly little club” image… that division’s a fiscal death-trap.

Haha - “James we’ve got our bigger rivals lording it up because they are in danger of doubling the home support next week. It has the potential to be the closest crowd to a rugby league game for years, say something controversial to stoke the fires would you?”.
