I think it’s the two local paper blokes as much as anything else TD. The Wigan guy is a massive stirrer, hence the fans comments things he published after the league cup game. This is the week his articles will hit double figures for viewings so he has to milk it.

Evatts comments they are reacting to were post match after SW so nowt to do with Wigan. Did grate on me a bit -frustrating afternoon but then to be told we are the best side in the league and should win 6-0 every week is a bit of nonsense that's not needed. Just motivates teams to sit in frustrate us and walk away with points if he keeps this up.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 2:55 pmI think it’s the two local paper blokes as much as anything else TD. So, will it be a ding-dong-do...as the nation awaits this white-hot encounter with bated breath? Well, okay then, maybe not the nation but the bit between where you could chuck a clog from the River Croal to Wigan Pier. It won't be a cake-walk , that's for sure. I've got a feeling our beloved manager is playing his cards closer to his insulated vest than Bart Maverick. We have to hope the Whites are on dazzling form and can somehow manage a win and three precious points. Twill not be easy, but hope springs eternal. I'll say a single goal difference and 2-1 to the Unibol heroes. COME ON YOU WHITES...

Aye but it'll be back down to single figures by the time they're half way through.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 2:55 pmI think it’s the two local paper blokes as much as anything else TD. Plenty changes - Gordon for John, Sheehan for Lee and Baka for Kacha (along with the expected Brocky for Gethin)
Kacha drops to bench, other three out altogether

Hoping Eoin Doyle will be in an old-style centre forwards mood and bag a couple today , although Dixon scoring from a wind-assisted goal kick will do just as well.

Sadly, yes I would. Said earlier this week that we concede in every game and only score in half of them. I hope to be proven wrong on the second point, especially now we’re losing to That Lot and I’m driving a million miles to Plymouth and back on Tuesday…

Come on Whites, get a grip will you...it's Wigan not P.S.G.

Re: Bolton v the 3.14159265359....eaters 16-10-21
Iles: “ Bolton's right side has been shocking this half... No other word for it, really… Brockbank visibly struggling… Bakayoko not on it, either... I can see Ian Evatt looking to change this at half time.”
I can’t blame Evatt for choosing Brocky - if not now, then when? - but I would have gone with the steadier Izzy rather than Baka. Hope the gaffer can turn it round.
