Spent the day in Salcombe, where it's been mild and dry. Just come back into Plymouth. It's still blowing a hoolie.
I'd take a point now if offered. I was chatting to one of their youth coaches this morning. He reckons Argyle have been hot and cold this season but on their bad days their keeper, who he was really positive about, has bailed them out.
Fark orfff!!

Well, at least they can't blame that on Covid or Brexit...Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 6:05 pmJust had a message from my brother in law who drove down today, saying there’s a pitch inspection!

Doyle and Sarce both dropped. Johnston captains the side.

Kieran Lee back in the side is massive. Think Evatt mentioned that Sarc has played the last couple of games with an ankle injury so not surprising to see him rested.

Wonder how much Santos missing will affect our defence.?brommers95 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 6:50 pmKieran Lee back in the side is massive. Think Evatt mentioned that Sarc has played the last couple of games with an ankle injury so not surprising to see him rested.

Re: Plymouth match
We’re certainly going to miss his recovery pace if they put some balls in behind our defensive line - Baptiste and Brockbank isn’t the quickest of defensive partnerships on that right hand side.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 7:01 pmWonder how much Santos missing will affect our defence.?brommers95 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 6:50 pmKieran Lee back in the side is massive. Re: Plymouth match
Doyle and Sarce played with injuries on Saturday so not sure I’d say dropped. Rested. Suspect both are back in Saturday. IE suggested Lee and John weren’t even travelling in his pre match the little scamp.truewhite15 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 6:48 pmDoyle and Sarce both dropped. Johnston captains the side.

It’s a decent side that I just worry about the full backs again mainly.

Re: Plymouth match
From a broader viewpoint I'm pleased that Evatt's put Brockbank straight back in; it could easily have crushed the lad if he hadn't. Let's just hope young Harry repays the faith.

Re: Plymouth match
Agreed though I think my immediate reaction was ‘won’t play for us again!’. There’s no free transfer options and Gethin is out for 2 months so Harry is here to stay. Fingers crossed.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 7:30 pmFrom a broader viewpoint I'm pleased that Evatt's put Brockbank straight back in; it could easily have crushed the lad if he hadn't. Sarce and Doyle both on bench.

Whats with the disco lights at Home Park? Way to find out whose epileptic
Good to see Brockbank being given another run out. Would've been easy for Evatt to put Baptiste out there or Aimson but rather than letting Brockbank sit on the bad performance he's been given an extra chance to play better.

Aye, thought Saturday might have been the last we saw of Brocky. Got to take this chance.
That must be the smallest senior back four we've ever put out. One or two might be touching 5'11".

Re: Plymouth match
I've not seen the Wigan game, yet (although I do intend on watching it despite the obvious reservations).
Was Brockbank really as bad as people are making out?

Re: Plymouth match
Looks like we’ve gone long ball tonight.
Re: Plymouth match
Well hopefully he'll make amends tonight. Not looking good so far though :S
We've got an awful lot of injuries too. Not sure what they're all about. Certainly don't remember us having this bad of an injury list.
1-0 to Plymouth. Shocking defending..
