Bored of saying this but all season our defensive side has been embarrassingly bad. Any half decent coaching team and manager would have fixed this by now. As worthy says the time for excuses are long gone.

If you can’t defend and keep clean sheets you won’t get very far. Defensively it’s completely unacceptable and has to be fixed now. If it can’t be then we will be in big trouble this season and I’d say we have an option. Change 4 or 5 players for ones that can do it or find a manager and coaching staff who can sort it with what we’ve got available.

Our defensive record and shape is probably on a par with Coyle’s arguably worse. Fix it or admit you can’t.
