Not sure dropping him into the middle of that mess of a defence will do him any good, but might as well have a look. Expecting nothing, would be unfair to really.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 11:29 amEven if he plays like a non league right back it has to be better than a non league left back is my theory.

Evatt per BN: “MJ [Williams] and Harry [Brockbank] have come through training fine today and will be available for Saturday.”
In that case I think we have our right-back (or right-wingback) for the Accy game. God knows dear Harry ain’t perfect, but for me he’s well ahead of Gordon and Baps, plus the untried Senior. Right now (and depending on oppo) I’d say the order is Jones > Isgrove > Brockbank > ?Senior? > Gordon > Baptiste. But I’d strongly hope that we get someone next month who’s either first or second choice.

Injury update presented in tabular form
I can't really see past leaving Gordon at RB, but Brockbank could start *if* he's deemed fit enough. In my opinion, Senior is nowhere near ready to start in League One but would love to be proved wrong on that. Maybe he starts and puts in a 'Joe Riley v Stoke' performanceDave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 12:03 amEvatt per BN: “MJ [Williams] and Harry [Brockbank] have come through training fine today and will be available for Saturday.”

Covid hits DJ's house.
The couch will be operational subject to how I feel however I recommend a mask.
Those that know the place, same address, those that don't PM and I'll send it across.

Been a bit now since I thought we might win every week; more nervous then confident right now. I'll be far from the only one who thinks the Whites need to prove a point and soon. COME ON YOU WHITES...

I’ve been convinced all week that we’d take a battering in this one, but game day has rolled around and my irrational confidence has returned.

Speaking of the messiah, who's a very naughty boy, Mr E is quoted as saying in the Bolton news
"But I spoke to the players this morning. I am a religious man, I have strong faith, and Jesus was crucified on the Friday and then he was saviour and resurrected on the Sunday – and that is how changeable football can be."
Sorry that quote is bordering on bonkersness.
People haven't got a good word for you, but i have T**T.

Today's lesson...Defendeth thou the far post against the marauding winger" We can't seem to learn that one and regularly leave the gate open. Can today be an early Christmas present and have us singing Carols?....... COME ON YOU WHITES..

He sat in that cave having a long hard look at himself for 2 days and then was back out there performing miracles for the fans.knobpolisher wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 9:25 amSpeaking of the messiah, who's a very naughty boy, Mr E is quoted as saying in the Bolton news

Hopefully, with the return of MJ we'll be a bit more combative in the middle of the park. I still can't see anything other than another mauling though. 0-3 or possibly worse.
Much admiration for those going today.

"Do unto others before others do unto thee!" Here endeth the first lesson.
In a better side than ours and a better league, Baptiste may still work as those around him would shield him. But Uncle Tom and Aunt Fanny applies with us and we need a big ruffian who can play a bit of football alongside Santos. Please Father Christmas.
