Gone way past anger. Totally embarrassed for them.
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Last 8.5 overs before lunch (take a wild guess why that's not a whole number)...3 down for 0 (zero) runs.
Nothing to say that hasn't been said a thousand times. Beyond pathetic. You can't get annoyed anymore. It's just the same forever. Like watching Man City play an Under 9s team. They're not playing the same sport.
If we're batting when I wake up it will be because Cummins fancies a few days off.

If we're not batting when you wake up, it might be because it's over....
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Good effort by Stokes and Bairstow. It feels like the 90s where we’re getting excited by a plucky partnership despite the fact we’ll still have a first innings deficit of 150+
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
That's a shocking review
Not as bad as Ashwin reviewing being bowled recently.
Oh ffs Jack.

We should declare, just to show 'em how confident we are
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
And miss the "trademark Jimmy Anderson reverse sweep" for 4? No chance!

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Given no one else has said it, that was a gutsy ton by Bairstow. All over the place, hit on the hand and still scored a ton. Hopefully he can kick on.
Now, go out on top....

Highest opening stand. It's the hope that kills you...98 overs tomorrow, I'd count it as a moral victory if we managed that...

It's a good demonstration of how low my expectations of this England team are that when I woke up this morning and read we'd made it to 30-0 I quite excitedly thought "Get in there!".
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Was surprised to see how long Australia batted for given the weather forecast. Especially given the series is done. We haven't made 300 in the entire series. The idea that we're chasing anything approaching that is... generous.

To clarify, it was because we'd made it to thirty without losing a wicket not because I thought there'd be the remotest chance of us winning.

Well done, England.
Australia must be ruing their late declaration on the fourth day.

Showed spirit. But I don’t like the idea of celebrating clinging on for a draw. I suppose it shows how far we’ve fallen from our former glorious selves.
