Trafford is definitely a standout performer lately.
Loving the shithousery aswell. Seemingly just the right amount.

He was the best player in Arsenal’s academy at one point. Hasn’t fulfilled his potential, but he’s caused us a lot of problems since coming on.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 9:47 pmJesus that abeke is just the new version of that fat lad at wycombe

Fine to disagree. I don’t think that particular goal was due to lack of subs; more that we’d ceded the initiative and momentum in the previous 10 minutes when we had options on the bench.Mar wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 9:46 pmNot sure i'd agree with you. Don't think the lapse in concentration would've been from the players that would've been subbed off. Arguments though for added impetus the other way given the fresh legs might've kept us up the pitch.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 9:40 pmI agree. I like the gaffer but we’ve gone reactive rather than proactive. And for me he didn’t even react quick enough.
Seems to me like its one of those finely tuned defensive errors that happen infrequently.

Weren't we linked with Aneke once?

Well played James Trafford. Cool as a cucumber save.
Re: Addicks in the 'Bok: Wanderers v Charlton (H), Tuesday 8th Feb, 8pm KO
Referee man. How is that a free kick?

Definitely a telling impact when the subs did come on. Whether that was due to conceding the goal or not is another one up for debate.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 9:52 pmFine to disagree. Hopefully it'll not make a difference if we get all three points.
Baka giving away a free kick and a yellow despite getting the ball? Reckless defending perhaps?

Yeah, Parky era. Second season I think.
EDIT slightly later - Aug 2018.

Good win. Couldn’t of argued with a point overall but our subs made the difference. Both DB and Sadlier will be asking to start Saturday I think.
James Trafford, not had a keeper that good at time wasting since Jussi.

Think that's not a bad shout. I had it between him and Charles and good show from Traf & Santos mind we could have had 4 from Morley's free kicks.
Quite a few absentees playing tonight...Still 3 points, we'll have 'em thanks

The large person has sung. "My Mama told me there'd be days ke this, there'd be days like this my Mamma said" 2-1, three points and all's well with the world...

Thought Aimson did well but not motm for me. Charles head and shoulders again. Even when we don't play well he makes something out of nothing.
Performance will need to be better on Saturday, but oosh it feels good again doesn't it? Whites are on a roll.

We're 11pts behind the play-offs. 14 behind automatic...
BTW we appear to have broken Sunderland, who have sacked their manager, lost at home to Doncaster and now lost at Cheltenham. Bet their fans are loving losing to, let me guess, "a bunch of horse-breeders who were in the bottom division last year".

Thought MJ was back to his best tonight. Aimson was great first half, did struggle a bit going forwards second…was he marking Aneke for the goal as well?
Morley and Dempsey both quiet, Fossey and John were nullified a bit as well. But winning and not playing well - good stuff!

Trafford growing and growing as well.
Struggled for legs in midfield because it got end to end. Don't think it was either game plan but both matched each other up so lots of under pressure long balls stretching things. MJ really struggled in those games. I'd pick him on Saturday and pretty much every tight pitch away game, but good to have options.
