What I want to know from all candidates is whether they're going to send Mo Farah to Rwanda...

Just heard Truss on the radio putting her case, she sounded like a little whining girl! No wonder Putin's clowns took the pee.
She’s labours dream. I wonder if the Tory party will realise that?
Was saying this earlier. Anyone who's getting behind Truss clearly can't see further than the end of their noses. She's embarrassing.

Don't know what you mean.

I've been doing some research on 'our Penny' and some of the things I've seen don't make, for me anyway, comfortable reading. It seems the biggest plus is the fact she isn't tarred with the same brush like a couple of the others, one thing I am certain of now twatty Hancock is backing Sunak, for me it's anyone but him.
The state of our politicians is enough to make you weep or puke!

You mean you’ve read what the daily Mail have fed you?

End of the day it’s the same battle as was in the Labour Party. Do they stick with a nonsense extremist like Corbyn and go for a Truss or revert back to sensible centre ground moderate politics with Sunak or Mordaunt?

Truss as PM would be a bigger joke than Corbyn and the memes are already hilarious but also scary. We’ve had Johnson embarrass us for two and a bit years, enough is enough.

Any sorta "such as's?" that don't make comfortable reading? It seems fairly clear to me there are "moderate right" and "further right" picks and I have her in the moderate right bracket, but I'm not close to what she's about.

I'm really surprised that the "Brexit done in an afternoon over a cuppa squad", are preaching they need a Brexiteer, 6 years after the vote (and Mogg the nice person has said we won't really see the benefits of Brexit for another 50 years)... I mean if ever any element of particular life had not delivered on their promises, it's this lot.

I have laughed at good old slightly senile Frostys ‘we can’t let them be pm they will endanger Brexit’.Brexit was done over two years ago. It was oven ready apparently. And delivered by the Brexit team, and nobody else.

It’s happened it’s done, the deal you negotiated and agreed and told us all was great was enacted, we are not and haven’t been now members of the EU. We are sailing our own ship and the glorious Brexit uplands promised by your team repeatedly have been reached, we are now living in these ‘glorious uplands’.

I’ve watched a bit of this debate and switched over. Mordaunt has been shocking. Truss abysmal. The only one of these who has any clue at all is Sunak.

Tugendhat also good but hasn’t got a hole in hell.

I stuck with it. Whatever the question is, the answer is we're fcuked.

Watching Truss was awful. She'd made a list of 10 things she needed to say and said them regardless of the question. Thought there wasn't a shitload between the others and no one came across to me as "winner"

It wasn't great, was it?!. Sunak - best of a bad bunch, Truss was toe-curling.

Yeah if it had been a job interview and I had to pick one it would've been Sunak.

Ii read an awful lot more than the Mail mate, in fact the Guardian used, untill the real commies invaded it was my favourite.
Penny is not the quality we need and nor is Sunak, Truss if you ignore her wooden stance and delivery said some decent things, Tom came across as Captin sensible but as you say really ain't in the running.
My biggest regret is Wallace disappeared down the pub with Gromit.

I particularly had to double take at the plan Mordaunt had for ‘no show’ appointments to be offered out via a registered database.

‘Hello is that Mrs Green? It’s Dani from the dentists. I know that you are waiting for an emergency filling, well the dentists last patient hasn’t turned up so he has a spare 5 minutes if you can get down here in the next 30 seconds?’

Seriously she was absolutely abysmal. The only good thing about her is she will leave the Tories out of office for a long time. But other than that, she has absolutely no redeeming features.

Looks like the public agree. She came bottom of a snap poll as to who had performed best with just 6%. Starmers dream is Truss to win. Tugenhat won, Sunak second according to the poll.

I listened to what Truss said. I'm trying to work out where this stellar growth is coming from that'll pay for her dumbass notions, coz it isn't from the two trade agreements she kept rattling on about...What did she say that was decent?

I suspect on reflection the real winner from tonight is Sir Keir. Doesn’t have to do or say anything. Just looks better by lack of association.
