I'd completely forgotten Comley.brommers95 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 9:44 pmI didn’t do much else during that lockdown season besides reading up on everything BWFC related, so names such as Brandon Comley and Jamie Mascoll will live long in my psyche

And the sun also rises on Vale Park. Going to be a gruelling time out there this afternoon in this current scorcher. It surely will make a few changes of plan from the norm. Will we sit back and let them do the running, or go for it and use a lot of subs? Who gets the shirts for the off? Almost decision time.

It's absolutely boiling here. The few bits of shade outside the ground already snapped up. God knows what it'll be like trying to play in it!
Burslem doesn't appear to have improved much since my last visit. It makes Daubhill look like Cheltenham.

I 'think' that both Lemmy and Slash were from Burslem. Points away for Robbie Williams though.

Same XI as last Saturday.

As to be expected with todays formation. I think the game plan from last week is to be repeated with the usual subs prepping for Tuesday fixture where the likes of Aimson, Sadlier, JDB and John will feature (illness / injury permitting).
This'll be a good test as to whether or not we can get off on a positive note away from home. The Ipswich result was a good result considering where they are expected to finish this season, but we all know the points against the rest of the teams will be what makes or breaks our season.

Anyone know a decent VPN which doesn’t require spending £££ for a yearly subscription?
Re: A Vale of tears in The Park? Port Vale away Sat 13th Aug.3-0 'clock.
You could always hop around the VPN's as they have monthly trials.
As for todays fixture, we're up against ex-whites Jamie Proctor and Harry Charsley, neither of which exactly shone in their time at the club. Charsley with the 1 appearance and Proctor the one goal wonder in 29 appearances (mostly off the bench).
Proctor's done surprisingly well since his move to Port Vale where he once again helped a team to promotion, this time from L2 to L1 with an impressive 13 in 34. Maybe he found his level at L2 given his scoring record but he'd played their before for Scunthorpe, Carlisle and Stockport where he's not exactly set the world alight. So perhaps its a case of he's found a club that suits him.
Hopefully it doesn't suit him today. He didn't exactly ingratiate himself last time he played us. Our fans didn't help but its hardly surprising given how poorly he did during our promotion season.

Update:
Surfshark VPN in use
Season pass purchased using PayPal
Live match Centre then stopped the streaming
Payment checked in my account and it said Failed
So, I can only assume that this VPN is also no good to stream live matches - Sorry !
Regards
