Edit, I'd have had M.J Williams in there to combat their mixed martial art-ers.

Some bad decisions on the ball in the first few minutes. Keep it simple and build more patiently, please.

Dad Bod should’ve gone closer there for me.

Morley should take every free kick - Declan John is not good at them.

Does Bod need to change his boots or something? His touch has been abysmal.

Morecambe have some better centre halves apparently. Might make them come out a bit more rather than parking the bus. The lack of Cole Stockton is also gonna help with that as they may feel like they have to play a bit more.
Aimson looking better and better as his Bolton career goes on, like Johnston too. Must be a belief in the process.

Zero shots on target. All huff and no puff.

Bod having a mare up top.

We're sloppy on the counter and have been wasteful up front. Morecambe are good at that low block so it seems like we need to be extra fast to get in behind them.
We've not been terrible, just wasteful.

Interesting to see Johnston become the winger and John the inside-forward. Width is usually the way to tire a low block so we need the same on the other side.

I don’t mind the odd “back to Traf” because it tempts their low block out. But we need to move the ball faster.

We need to shoot from outside the box at every opportunity, hard and low and follow them in, one will go in

Aye, it feels to me as though getting Bradley the ball more may well be the key.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 8:21 pmInteresting to see Johnston become the winger and John the inside-forward. Width is usually the way to tire a low block so we need the same on the other side.

Much more interesting prospect us being a goal ahead. Means Morecambe have to come at us now. Should be easier to get at them on the break.
