Getting absolutely battered here now. No idea why we aren’t making a number of changes. It’s dire this. Wigan last year level of being found out.

Our passing accuracy in final third is 58% today whereas Wednesday are 69%.
I do think that end of quality has been an issue especially against Morecambe.
It will include big switches from Johnston to Bradley which don’t always work but are part of our game plan

Thanks that’s quite informative. Wednesday aren’t playing lots of short passes though. Be interesting to do some analysis over the longer term.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 4:11 pmPassing stats are measured where the ball endsBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 4:09 pmIn the final third you’ve already gone long. Does feel like Wigan right now though.

Nah, Wigan battered us and were obviously a better side. There's hasn't been much in this. They tried to shoot themselves in the foot and missed. We weren't so lucky.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 4:15 pmThanks that’s quite informative. Wednesday aren’t playing lots of short passes though. I’d have Dempsey off for Lee. Bodvarrson and Charles up top. Move Dapo out to LWB. Put Aimson on for santos.

Santos hitting the long diagonal at players who are marked is incredibly depressing.

Like there being no goals in the team without Doyle?
Like Dempsey being a duff signing?
Like there being no point loaning youngsters we can't keep?
Like Morley not being good enough for this division?
Like Bradley being no match for Fossey?
Seems to me you almost always predict doom. So when you're right (or think you are) it's because things have gone tits-up. What a curious crevice to live in.
Nobody is happy about that goal. Only you want to sell the captain. And don't tell me "everyone around me says the same" because they may just be the voices in your head.
I've never known anybody revel in disaster like you do.

I’d consider getting Sadlier on for Iredale.
Because we are chasing the game and he’s a game changer.

Not the first cheap yellow Bradley has got.

Santos - how can anyone defend him? And if you are running a squad why would you leave out Aimson who has played two perfect games done virtually nothing wrong. It doesn’t make sense. Dapo and Bod are both obviously superb footballers. Neither are undroppable. From a squad point of view this was a very poor decision from Evatt. Hope he holds his hands up and admits it.
If I were Aimson I’d be gutted.

Clearly not the major talking point but mildly interesting to see Evatt has (since the double sub) been playing Dapo as a 'free 8' alongside Dempsey. It's MJ behind those two, not Dapo at 10. Same system. Might change with next sub

Triple sub. Sads for Brads, John for Iredale, Kacha for Dapo. Wonder if Kacha will be at 10 or as a free 8.

Judging by how they're lining up, Kacha at 10 with Demps alongside MJDave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 4:37 pmTriple sub. Sads for Brads, John for Iredale, Kacha for Dapo. Wonder if Kacha will be at 10 or as a free 8.
