FFS. So poor from Johnston and covering defending by Thomason was just baffling, rather than blocking off the pass he ran into a patch of space that didn't serve anyone.
On a goals against highlights reel it'll be clear to see the problems are of our own making.
Thomason seems reluctant to shoot for some reason. Noticed this in previous games. Gets into good positions.

I've often heard it said the first goal is quite important...

Good corner, good leap, seemed to do everything right barring the finish.

BoltonFM commentator seems surprised we've only got one keeper listed...
Guess nobody has told him its a common occurrence.

Wide open this game. Could be any score.

Good lad Bradley! If Beck is as good we're in for a treat.

Tenacious this match. When we play with this tempo we're really exciting to watch.

Now, keep the hammer down and get safe. Great reply after being one down after three minutes...

I think we’ve played well after conceding early but we don’t by any means have total control.
I think its fair to say Thomason has played very well so thus far it looks a good call by Evatt to sit him in with MJ.
If you watch this game its crystal clear where our problems mainly lie and it’s the back three. Jittery. Lacking concentration and mistake prone especially Santos and Johnston. It doesn’t matter how good on the ball you look or how imperious your are mainly if you make mistakes that cost goals. And they do. And we look vulnerable in this match back there.
More goals please. For us only.

Their goal: Oh Johnno
Equaliser: One wing-back assists the other
