fecking pathetic team. Another mistimed attempt to stab the ball into the net - and he falls for it!
Re: No Posh nosh at The Unibol. V. Peterborough at home, Sat 17th Sept. 1500.
A big unit up top would be good. We're sensibly punting up field due to Peterborough's high press but often not managing to find the man or pick up the second ball.
Lovely hitting the post and its their number 8 yet again rolling around. Shades of Robbie Savage here with this guy.
That isn't a booking for me. He's gone to put the ball in the net and worst case he's been caught.
Ref getting card happy. Maybe time for Dapo as he'll a number of fouls.

For me last five aside we’ve been comfortably second best purely because we can’t cope with their press and physicality.
Then we’ve had the only real chance of the game and Bradley makes a real hash of it.
Noticeable how Santos is seriously struggling here against a big mobile unit who has the better of him.
The front two are working hard for me but I fail to see how we will score many if any as it stands as it’s very much feeding off scraps and neither Charles nor Kachunga are looking all that threatening to me. Charles noticeably under par today.
Would like to see us change it. Last five we did get on top but it’s not convincing at all. I’d take a point right now as I fear we are in for a tough second half unless our subs can make a difference.

Would seem to a new tactic we've been facing with the opposition causing a rukus for defensive corners only for the referee to blow up immediately after when the actual kick is taken despite seemingly no foul. Almost as if the ref is playing it safe but doing us no favours whatsoever.

This referee is a joke. How did he not see that handball?

Terrible runs on that counter. Created no space, asked no questions.

How the feck did we go from being 4 on 2 to 4 on the rest of the Peterborough team?
Decent shot from Dion but that should be 1 nil.

How fast is Santos when he gets going!

Lovely play by Charles, terrible final ball, options weren't great as you said. Too many cooks spoiling the broth I think.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 4:17 pmTerrible runs on that counter. Created no space, asked no questions.
He's my MOTM so far however.

Yeah to most of that - don’t think numbers should hurt us though. Needed to make diagonal runs to ask defenders questions and make space. Santos I can sort of forgive but the others should know betterMar wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 4:20 pmLovely play by Charles, terrible final ball, options weren't great as you said. They bring on their assist man Ward. He’s created five from RWB.
Evatt sits on his hands.

The fact we've got five players getting forward and none of them were found just shows how poor the final ball was. Charles did well to get the corner on a recovery but we really should've made more of it.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 4:24 pmYeah to most of that - don’t think numbers should hurt us though. I suspect the lack of subs at the minute is a reluctance to change shape or bring off Charles. Would be good to see some changes, Sadlier, Dapo and Dad Bod for Dempsey, Kacha and another. Maybe a change to a back 4?
Lincoln doing a number of Bristol Rovers, 6-2 ahead away from home.

Oh for sure - as a rule Charles can’t pass. Bod might have a found a man but his job would have been made harder by those straight runs. So for me it’s a bit of both.

Interesting indicators coming off the oppositions coaching side when our subs came on. Almost as if he was pointing for 10 men to get stuck into our player. Couldn't tell if it was Dapo or Dad Bod he was pointing toward.
