It’s Aimson RCB, Toal in the middle. Makes me think they see Toal as the long-term Santos replacement.
John RWB, Beck LWB.

An inauspicious first 15 from us...

Not a good start, really. Disjointed in the first 15 and keep losing possession in the centre, just in front of our box. Morley and Sheehan invisible.

Have to say it’s been coming. Beck lost his man 30 yards out. Morley slow on the response. Weak defending. 0-1.

Hmm that’s a poor goal to concede all round.

An inauspicious first 15 turns into a more worrying 20. If this is what he's seeing in training, some of these players need to get their fingers out. Great tackle from Toal there...

Liking what I see of Toal so far, excepting his poor long balls. Beck yet to get in the game.

The insistence of our centre-backs on pogging it long is even odder considering our central midfielders are Sheehan and Morley

Considering how much we play and train our style of football we seem to be completely all over the place here. Like we're playing like a bunch of strangers.
I get that this isn't a fully settled side and they're having to adjust but this is just bad. Does make you wonder what effect some of the injury concerns are having on our mentality.
Little of note, we're not matching them for work rate and there's not been much in it. Sheehan coming close and their player scoring.
All in all, we're not showing our quality.

Missed the first 15, but it’s been fecking awful since I’ve been watching. We look like we’re playing a pre-season friendly.

Seems that it has done the trick Tango. Much better lead up to Dapo's shot.

Dapo showing a bit more of his old self there.

Splendid. We really shouldn't be that surprised.

Calamitous defending there. Huge hole on Johnston’s side. Terrible.
