Is this lad Beck shite do we reckon? He's made zero impact since being here and I'd be thinking of cutting the loan short if things don't change soon.

Maybe they've got two clocks. :D
Or maybe they too have a Brobdingnagian, only theirs can get his head to the ball once in a while and direct it goalward? :D

You have to wonder? It surely can't be that he doesn't have something a bit exceptional surely. Coming from Liverpool can only be seen as a bonus in football; in anything else it's best as much avoided as said inhabitants of strange lands like Kirby, Toxteth, Bootle and Norris Green where Tolkien surely got his inspiration from. Maybe we've become a bit overloaded with talent? Or maybe he's just waiting for his Beck and call.....oh, sorry..

Could be a 4-3-3 or a 3-5-2 depending whether we're in possession or not

3-5-2.

I do hope we can get a couple of goals.

Wherever we play one of these long throw lot, someone drops off to take it short and for reasons beyond me we don't...let them?!

Indeed - this XI, with Iredale rather than Johnston, affords that option. Which is interesting.

Really good move - intelligent pass from Bradley, finding a clever run from Kcha, who cut back to Dapo and just wide of the upright.

Ooooh,

What a ball to Kachunga by Bradley. Cuts back and Dapo hits it wide.

Is it also six starters signed in the last two windows? Geth, Rico, Tomo (who many of us expected to be gone), Dapo and Kacha the exceptions?

Dapo, bit lazy there. Get the block in pal.

Having Dapo playing on the left makes such a massive difference for us going forward. He draws defenders towards him and opens up space for others in the middle.

These long throw pricks are ripe for dropping out of the football league in the not too distant future. Let’s give them a drubbing.

It’s Keillor to rhyme with feeler, not Keilior to rhyme with Celia. Just felt I had to point that out.

Bradley causing them all sorts of problems.

Do think that should've been a free kick though. Right in front of the lino too?

Lovely usage of the long balls from side to side and then to Charles.

Wish they'd've painted the pitch green though. These Rugby markings make the pitch look a bit naff compared to usual.

We get to the byline and pull it back to the edge, so that we can try and pass it through the very large bucket of concrete they've dropped in the area...

Better from Bradley in behind that go...

My instinct was that he fell over, but I could be wrong.

Formation currently getting the best out of Bradley and Dapo. Time to work the keeper though.
